Bad practices at this location. There were two preliminary appointments done for the doctor to schedule a procedure. At the day of, after being seated and prepped was told the procedure cannot be done. Then sent a bill for an office fee for the visit in which nothing was done. I called twice to dispute the charge and on the last call spoke with an extremely rude lady and was told "the charge stays as is”. This business had the opportunity to make it right but chose not to. Billing a patient for your error is bad practice.
I was not happy with my experience here. I was a few minutes late because I could not find the location in the building. I had already checked in online though. Then they had me wait half an hour and then told me I needed to reschedule because I was late. I thought it was very unprofessional to have me wait and to ask me to reschedule when the amount of time it would've taken me to check in would've been longer, it was like they just wanted to cancel on me.
I would like to let you know about my experience at the Madison location. You had a nurse yesterday trying to take blood out of my arm. I've been around the medical field for over 35 years And that was one of the worst experiences I've had. It felt like she stuck a big old razor in my arm. She had no idea what she was doing she was just poking. She did no preliminary w limb work on my arm to get my vein ready to pop out. She just gabbed the needle in ! I am sure there are many people out there Sure There are many people out there who can do a better job
The agressive care provider person I believe she was a nurse practitioner, but I could be wrong no longer works here. She didn't offer me care options she was aggressive and told me what she was going to do to me & That's not cool. The good news is the new male I saw seems ok & I politely told him that he's not allowed to treat me like she did. So I'm giving this clinic a shot again. While I'll never steer you away from a dermatologist if you need one I have found a product that works better than any I've ever tried in my life I've had dry skin issues my entire life , O'Keeffe's now makes a eczema relief body cream that has oatmeal in it and does what it claims. In the winter I can barely stand my own skin and this took away the itching within roughly a half hour or less. The best part is it's fragrance free and it's not so heavy that you feel like you stick to everything. I've tried them all including The expensive brand name ones & they did not take away the itching or sooth as they claimed, At least not for me. The only other thing that comes close is free and clears light lotion. I really can't stand the heavy sticky feeling. Perhaps while you wait to get into the dermatologist you try O'Keeffe's products. I also have a problem with my skin cracking particularly on my fingers and there healing hands works great for that and I also use their foot care product with great success.
I wish I could give zero stars but you can't. They were supposed to call in a script. We got to the drug store and it hadn't been called in. The druggist tried to call them twice but they didn't feel the need to answer. When we called the clinic and asked they said they had called it in twice which could not have happened because they asked for all of our personal information again. If they had called it in they wouldn't have needed it again. Finally it did get called in but to the WRONG pharmacy. Really? Besides that, staff was rude. I am glad we have the Mayo system in town. Never ever again will we darken the doors of the Mankato Clinic.
Great nurses, and my visits have been with a great doctor as well. No problems with prescriptions getting to my pharmacy either. This is the place I go for my dermatology needs, and couldn't be more satisfied with the services they provide...:
