Montreal Pool Room

A Montreal institution! I think it is the second oldest continuously operating restaurant in Montreal. Good steamies, good burgers, open until 4 am. What is not to like?

I was pleased to see how many onions and all the sauerkraut that came on the dogs! Kicked my late night craving! Really cool history of the building as well and the shop itself. Cool little stop for a hot dog.

If you are looking for health and wellness then turn back! If you want a delicious steam dog on the whitest bread in the land with straight up poutine and a coke. Then bam, get in line.

Great and affordable poutine & hotdogs!

Used to be a must eat every time we were in the neighbourhood! We went about 5 weeks ago and before entering, we watched the cook to see if it looked safe. The cook is behind some plexiglass but is free to sneeze and cough over everything because he doesn’t wear a mask! We left!

Classic! It has been there for almost a century! If hot dog and french fries is your cup you are at the right stop! Enjoy simple Meal! Ask for ketch up or mayonnaise it tastes better. Have a look at who is who business cards! Find your professional match. Bon appetit!

Recommendation from a friend to come here. Quick grab for lunch. Old school hot dog and burger joint. Fries with vinegar were awesome!

Pretty solid poutine and steamies. Prices are fair, staff are friendly. Don’t come here looking for high end food, this is “I don’t care abut it my body” eating.
