Amazing meal and amazing drinks! It’s worth taking the time to make a reservation even if some people…Tim….don’t understand why. Owner John was super friendly and funny, and explained why they require reservations it’s not the space available, it’s the care and craft it takes to make the meats and the limited amount they can make at a time. Mac and cheese was amazing, Arnold Palmer cocktail was refreshing, and the meats were too much to handle, but we ate them anyway! 10/10 would recommend!
Best brisket I ever had! John Lattuca is really dedicated to serve the best meat possible. No need for sauce everything on my plate was so tasty. The ambiance was great and the waitress was amazing. Definitely my new favorite place to eat!
I was really looking forward to eating here but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. The service was very poor. For the first time dining here our server didn’t take the time to explain the menu to us. She felt very rushed. Maybe they were shorted staffed for the night? The food was good but when we requested extra bbq sauce it took along time for someone to bring it to us. My cocktail was overly sweet with to much juice. The only positive was the brisket and beef rib which were very delicious.
I give this place a 4.5/5 Meat lovers you're at the right place! Lattuca BBQ truly didn't disappoint. It was awesome. I recommend having a reservation because it is not a big place. The decorations was rustic and loved the feel it gave as well as the ambiance. I love their concept. Each plage start with one meat 27$ and two sides. You can also add additional cuts as you wish for an extra 2-3$. They have need brisket they are renowned for this, beef rib, pork rib, chicken and pulled pork. As for the sides there are a coleslaw salad, mac and cheese and baked beans. We tried all the cuts of meat and we think the brisket and the beef ribs are the best! You should also ask for their BBQ sauce. It makes everything taste better. All the meats were perfectly cooked and melt in the mouth. The only thing is you have to eat it fast because when it cools down, it's a lot harder to eat because it is a heavy meal. Taking the salad is also very recommended. They have many choices of local beers as well as a few choices of wines. Cocktails are also available. Overall, we were in a meat coma after we finished. We also took some home because of their portions. This is a must try American BBQ restaurant to try.
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Came here for a bachelor party. The service was great. Server has a great sense of humor and was quick and accurate getting our drinks out. Food was out of this world. Beef rib fell off the bone. Pork ribs were the best I've ever had. The owner, Jean, was amazing. He came out and talked about his time in Texas and how he came about barbecuing. We told him about the bachelor party and he and all the staff came out for a shot of bourbon with us. Super nice person and great restaurant. Would come back every time
Best BBQ I have ever had hands down. The Beef Rib fell right off the bone and had so much flavour, the Brisket was done perfectly and the mac and cheese and smoked beans could have been a meal on their own. The owner and Pit Master, John, was incredibly friendly and made sure to say hi to all the guests. He clearly puts a lot of care into his food which really came out in the flavours. If you like BBQ, or even if you just like quality food, and you are in MTL then Lattuca BBQ is a must try.
We got the pulled pork, pork ribs, beef ribs and brisket, with the sides of Mac ‘n cheese, smoked beans and coleslaw. The food was delicious!! The ambience is nice and cosy, and the servers were friendly. Definitely recommend!Recommended dishesBeef Rib Brisket Pulled Pork, Pulled Pork and Brisket, Smoked Beans
I have lived in Georgia US for 16 years and have never enjoyed barbecue as much as I did at Lattuca Barbecue! The brisket is SO tender it falls off the fork! I also have children who are picky eaters and they commented on how good the food was! If you’re in Montreal and you enjoy barbecue, you will not be disappointed!
No-nonsense classic BBQ spot. No menus, they have 4 meat options: Brisket get Beef ribs Pork ribs incredible Pulled pork And you can you choose 2/3 sides: Mac n cheese Baked beans Cole slaw I would certainly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys quality smoked meats
Quality bbq in an unassuming space. Brisket and beef rib are a must. For the side nothing beats their Mac and Cheese. The coleslaw has a bit too much vinegar. The portions were a good size if you order two or more meats.
