Story

Founded in 1961, Montcrest School is a co-educational, non-denominational independent school that provides children with a solid academic foundation for future success in education and life.

Our campus overlooks Riverdale Park in the Broadview and Danforth area.

Mission

Montcrest is a co-educational community, small enough to honour the individual and big enough to provide an exceptional academic experience with balanced opportunities in leadership, the arts, and athletics. Our school challenges children to discover and acknowledge their own voices, so they can understand and make meaningful connections with the world.

Wonderful, kind-hearted teachers. They create a culture of respect and warmth among their students. The band program is stellar. Students are encouraged to get involved in extracurriculars. They also interview the parents to make sure that the community is one that supports learning at home as well as in school. (I went there for 6 years)
