I am a very long time customer of this location & this is sad to write.nThis location has gone downhill so bad in the past year and a bit that I am no longer interested in coming.nHalf price wings was the highlight of this place.nBy far some of my favorite wings in the area.nSince it has recently been acquired by new owners the food & service is horrible.nI have sat at the table more times than I can count on 2 hands for 20-30 minutes waiting for a drink order, let alone the food after that.nMaybe due to the consistent understaffing & lack of the bar side.nThe wings in particular often come with VERY little amounts of sauce on them.nFries have gone from a well sized portion to a very tiny side dish.nWhen you ask for more sauce the server looks at you funny.nIt's a shame to see this happen here & to even write this.nI hope for a change here as for now the other guys will get my business.
The manager went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us outside of his hours even though it was certainly not required in this case! He was extremely kind to us and ensured we had the best experience. He made sure we got our dinner even in a major snow fall : Very friendly! 110% for service! I wish him all the best and hope this review finds someone in the company who will congratulate him in a meaningful way!
Made reservations for Saturday night 6 pm.nArrived on time and was promptly seated.nServer came over shortly after and took drink orders.nMontana’s was having a surf and turf promotion which is the reason we went.nUpon ordering we were informed they had run out of shrimp, AND lobster tails.nWait, what ? Your online and in store menus are promoting that very thing.nServer was able to secure apparently the last lobster tail. It looked like it when it arrived.nSteak was cooked properly, lobster tail was sad with little flavour. The extra charge for the hint of seasoned butter was embarrassing. And in a small take out paper cup. The side of coleslaw, also in a small paper cup. For take out I get it, but indoor dining put it either on the plate or in actual glassware.nAt no point were we asked or brought drink refills, with a couple being water.nI think the Alliston location needs to work on several aspects of not only the menu but the service. Yes this promotion expires on Tuesday but to run out several days before ? Then pull the menu.nPulled pork sandwich was very good as were the nachos.
Kristine is one of the best Montana's servers I have ever met. Such a bubbly attitude and warm hospitality. This feels like the Montana's that I have grown to love. Like home.
***edited after 2nd experience***nBoth Jordans followed up with me after my first experience and invited me back, and they definitely redeemed themselves! Delicious steak and the Caesars were on point! Thank you for the great service from the bartender male, I don’t remember his name though!nnPlaced an order for take out using the website and was quoted 20mins for pick up… this ended up taking exactly 40mins which was the first problem. They did admit that the delay was because of a mix up with a GF Pulled Pork sandwich which I believe because it was piping hot when we got it, however the chicken in my chicken tacos was stone cold, as was my kid’s grilled cheese the kids food was not as much of an issue. I still enjoyed the flavours of the tacos, but was disappointed again when I got to my side salad and at least half of the lettuce was going bad slimy and/or browning, so I didn’t eat it. Staff should be quality checking food before it’s sent out….nnPicture is of some, not all, of the bad lettuce
