Monk Café

It's a new cafe & I'm super happy that I finally have a nice one by my place! I got an oat milk latte on my way to work. The service was excellent, there were free spots for those that would want to sit down & have some food/work in a quiet & comfortable environment. The prices are also fair especially for a new business! compared to other cafes I go to in Mtl. This might be just personal preference, but the latte tastes a tiny bit sour for my taste, but that could be because my palate isn't used to the blend they use, or their brand of oat milk. Still good tasty though! Note: The lattes come in either 8oz or 12oz

So happy about Café monk opening! It's currently the soft launch and the official opening is on friday. Delicious food with local ingredients with some fun twists! Beautiful decor. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich!Food: 5/5

Shockingly good. I did not expect downtown quality food and atmosphere in this area. Love it.

It's such a nice gem! Nice view of the park, good location, great interior and vibe, talented and passionate staff, awesome cocktails. What else do you want?. I know where I will go for cheeky drinks.

Had a delicious breakfast sandwich 10/10. Great portion with lots of potatoes. Cocktails were tasty. Staff is friendly and service was quick and efficient. SO EXCITED THIS FINALLY HAPPENED!! Best of luck :

Very open atmosphere inside - you'll feel welcome. I got what I paid for hasbrowns, bacon and eggs but it had no seasoning. Nice cuts of bacon though. Just missing flavour all around. The filter coffee tasted like it was the second pass at the grind.Food: 2/5

Atmosphere and decor were stunning, coffee was fantastic as well. Very friendly service! I haven't tried their food yet, but if it's even half as good as their coffee I'm sure I'm in for a treat.

Great food and decor. Feels like it will be a lively place in the future. Fun you can visit the old bank safe. Would love if they got a change table for babies. Also I found the music good and at a reasonable level, but maybe just a little bit too much bass. Kid-friendliness: They had quite a few high chairs. Easy to move around tables and chairs to make room for strollers.
