The seasoning was good, however the meat was very dry and overcooked. It was very tough. No prices on the menu, a handwritten itemization of the order and prices, old school, which would have been fine if prices were known beforehand. Way too much money for dry overcooked meat.  Parking: Lots

This is food from Ghana! Something that isn't on the menu or restaurant that you might like to know! I have not had this kind of west African cuisine before so my review is just my opinion and observation.  At first glance the place is cute and clean, the bar is something to be desired but if you're nice then maybe you'll get to try the house made spirits with herbs which I enjoyed. I ordered for take away but got a meat stick to try as I waited.  The food didn't look as good as the menu photos, and the meat was definitely dry / overdone but I really enjoyed the flavour. The fish was my favourite dish. I got Jollef rice and goat instead of chicken, honestly the meat was hard to determine what it was because it was heavily dried. I thought it would have been more saucy. Maybe this is what it's meant to be? I'm not sure. Very strong tomato paste flavour in the rice, did not notice anything else veggies or herbs. There wasn't much to the rice, did not think that the amount or the style was a 30$ value. That's just a guess btw they didn't list the prices I paid for each item so I'm not sure... The fish and banku dish was my favourite but it did not come with all the sauces that were pictured sadly. It came with a fresh tomato and chili sauce and some kind of oil that tasted like beef jerky that was unique and I liked it but wasn't sure how to eat it  I should have gotten veggies on the side there was not a single vegetable in my dishes. I ordered plantains and yams I consider this a starch / carb not a veggie as a side They were delicious! But I really like a lot of veggies it was not well rounded meal for me and my tastes… I'm going to need some serious fibre haha  With everything that I ordered plus dessert of course, I would say it was enough to maybe feed two people but for that price I was a bit surprised, I did not feel it was worth over $100 that included tip the service was amazing, I really liked the people that were there they were very helpful telling me about the dishes and giving me their preferences I'm grateful that I tried it but I don't know that I would make it habit just based on the price the amount of food and the quality. If it was cheaper I would for sure go back but it's not worth it for $50 a person in my opinion. Meat being really dry and overcooked and hard was kind of sad because I do think it was good meat and I did like the spices.  For 120$ I was a little surprised what I took home. There are no prices or itemized receipts they just made something up from what it seemed like...  Food for me was 3/5 room for improvement. If the price was lower it would be a lot more reasonable, otherwise I would expect more for the value.

Literally the strangest restaurant I have ever been to!!!! I ended up leaving before I even got to order my food cause let me tell you why… first of all when I entered the restaurant the staff was very shocked to see me and they acted as if I was some kind of creature they have never seen before, the customer service was horrible!!!!!! Horrible, the lady was very very rude like I have seen bad service but not this bad! Then I ask her what’s the price of each food she told me each one is 29$  when in fact on the website those same items are listed for 27$, when I asked her why she’s asking for 2$ more she said she has to add tax! Which doesn’t make sense to me at all, the math isn’t mathing! So I had to leave and will most likely never returning again.

I don't know if I am supposed to cry or laugh. I ordered food from the restaurant via Ubereats because I saw a beautiful picture of fish and Plantain. When I attempted to place the order, I saw that it comes with beans; so I called them to clarify because I didn't want beans. Honestly, I expected the food to come with sauce or dip because I don't know anywhere in the world where fries is served without dip/sauce, especially for a $27 meal. I was highly disappointed to say the least. As if that was not enough, the eguisi soup and poundo I ordered as well, was served with very tough fried dry meat. Though tasty soup, it was a terrible meal because I didn't get my money's worth.

The food is good but they must change the front desk she’s not sure about everything and the prices too bad for the owner we have bill like 130sh but she just billed us like 57  it’s seems a good deal for us but u can’t get away with karma for few bucks lol sorry for the ownerFood: 5/5

We travelled from red deer and tried this place and wow! The service was so great we felt so welcomed the minute we walked in the door : and the food holy smokes it was amazing it was so full of flavour and delicious highly recommend checking out this place! Thanks for the great service and we cant wait to.come back next time where in town!  Very worth the money to was so full had to even take some home!

Honestly horrible!! I ordered the fish and friend plantains with beans. The fish is as dry as Sahara desert, and it was not fresh .No pepper sauce. Please don't deceive people with photos. I ordered the fish because of the photos I saw on Ubereats. Please take your time and learn how to grill fish. I didn't request fried frozen fish. I wish I can post a photo of it. As an African you should know how to prepare good pepper sauce. What was that black horrible sauce? Cold suggy friend plantains. Please stick to the meals you good at, take out the fish and plaintains. Your chef doesn't know what a good grilled fish lóoks and taste like cuz he or she did, my order would have been good. If I didn't have a class, I would have drove your restaurant and returned the meal and requested for a refund. As tough as the economy is right now, don't waste people's funds.
