Molon Lave Taverna

We had a nice experience here. The ambiance was good, there was live music and two out of three dishes we ordered were good. It would be great if the menu has some more details about the dishes dry, gravy etc or at least the server shares them while taking the order.

The best Greek food I’ve ever had!!! So glad I found this gem. My friends and I ordered 3 appetizers and 3 dinner plates. The calamari was deep fried JUST right and the flavour was *chefs kiss*. The chicken souvlaki plate tasted delicious - chicken was tender and not dry. Their customer service was exceptional! I have only good things to say.

We are local for the area, were walking by when this restaurant caught our eyes, so we decided to check it out for lunch. First of all they have really gorgeous decoration. We ordered kebab plate and souvlaki wrapped. We had to wait awhile for the food but it’s worth it. Kebabs were extremely flavourful and portion was massive, we weren’t able to finish it all, had to pack it for home. Service was top notch, they regularly came by to check on us. I’m definitely recommending you should visit this restaurant!

Saw that a new authentic Greek restaurant opened in area, so figured we’d give it a try. We ordered the 3 dip cold appetizer scordalia, tzatziki, and tirokafteri which was amazing. The saganaki which was also delicious and what you expect from a slab of hot gooey fried cheese. The Greek salad was also great! The entrees in my opinion could use some improvement. The chicken souvlaki dinner had a nice flavour but I really wish they used white meat. The bakaliaro was so salty it was inedible. The bifteki was decent. Overall this place has amazing appetizers but their mains were a little lacking. Everyone has already mentioned it but I’ll say it again, cash only. I’d give this place a 3* but bumped it up to 4 because of our server.

Passed this place so many times... didn't know what kind of food was being served but noticed a flashing sign the other day - Greek Food! I love Greek food! We ordered pork chops and chicken souvlaki. Both dishes were perfection! Juicy, tender, super tasty in the marinade - yum!! The meal was preceeded with an order of mixed dips - a very nice app. To finish, Angelo the owner sent over ekmek which was light, very sweet and nutty. Angelo also prepared a couple Greek coffees - just tremendous!! I highly recommend this place for both food and service - Maria is a very attentive and gracious server!! This is my favourite greek restaurant. We ordered a chicken souvlaki pita, chicken souvlaki dinner and a soutzoukakia dinner. The flavour of each piece of food was spot on. It reminded me of being in Greece and my mom. It is not in our area but it is worth the drive. We will definitely be back and I can't wait to have their food again. Very highly recommend this place!

I went there tonight with my great-aunt, grandmother and mom. What a wonderful experience. Nico was very friendly and accommodating and the chef, whose name we did not get sadly, made us such delicious fresh food. The fried goat cheese and bread were amazing and we loved the Tzatziki sauce. The portion sizes were very generous and great value for the price. We were visiting from out of town but will surely visit again when we come back to town.

Went for a late lunch 3pm, on Father’s Day Sunday. The food was good and fresh and the portions were generous. The waitress Eleni, was quick and courteous. A fresh loaf of bread with butter was immediately Served with our ice cold beers. The place is large but cozy and the rustic wood and stone fireplace makes me want to come back on a cold snowy day. I don’t know if it was a Father’s Day thing but after our meals we were treated to on the house beers . Great time had by all. We will be going back. Giv

Cute little Greek restaurant on Kennedy Road. Terrible plaza with lots of free parking. Simple yet nicely decorated. Didn't eat but just had a drink the imported, bottles are $8.50 kinda steep imho. I might stop by for lunch to try the food someday and I'll post a better review at that point.
