Mohawk Lodge is a family fishing resort located on the West basin of Sharbot Lake.

Story

Mohawk Lodge in Sharbot Lake, Ontario.

Our resort was established in the early 1940's as a fishing camp. It has been family run for over 65 years! Mohawk Lodge continues to be a beautiful destination for groups of fishermen and returning families every year.

"We are a quiet family resort of both 2 and 3 bedroom, housekeeping affordable cottages located directly on beautiful Sharbot Lake. Lounge by the lakefront beach and dock area by day and sit around the fireplace with your friends or family by evening. Escape the city and come experience the peaceful outdoors Mohawk Lodge has to offer. We are located just 3 hours East of the GTA and 1 hour West of Ottawa."

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend and fell in love with the place right from the start. We love the rustic cabins and the beautiful lake. I was breath taken by the view of the lake from the cabin. Jerry the owner was very friendly and helpful! My only negative was that the beds weren't very comfy and we were sore after the first night. Other than that if you are looking for an affordable vacation spot in Sharbot lake I will highly recommend Mohawk lodge!
Not the fanciest place in terms of the cabin. It's quite basic even rundown and could use renovating. But for that price, it's great value for money. The view of the lake is gorgeous, there are wide range of free and paid boats available for group activities, whether you're there with friends or family. We had a great time there and would definitely go back.

Nice cottage with private desk to lake, nice sunset view!
Nice family oriented place to stay.Owner friendly and helpful and very nice view of the lake.Will definitely try to get back next year if a cottage is available.Rooms: 4/5
The main lodge was super comfortable and homey. Lots of water to explore and caught some nice bass Will be back!
We kept our boat here all season. Gerry was great to deal with and was very accommodating
Nice accommodation.Host Jerry and his daughter are always happy to assist.
