Food was fantastic! We ordered the platter for 2 with mac and cheese and rice as sides. Good portion size. My kids really enjoyed as well. It’s a good place to go with family.nnI just don’t like the seating. The sofa bench seating is not very comfortable.nnOverall it’s great Halal food!
The food was really yummy, we had a feast! For 4 people, we ordered the Share Platter for Two with cornbread and coleslaw, classic poutine, beef back ribs and burnt ends. We had a lot left over which we took to go. Particularly loved the burnt ends and pulled beef
If I could give these BBQ beef burnt ends more stars, I would! The blend of tender meat and the sweet tang of Southern BBQ sauce creates an explosion of flavor that's simply irresistible. The friendly staff and rustic industrial atmosphere perfectly complement the mouthwatering dishes. Located just south of Ottawa, this place is an absolute gem for BBQ enthusiasts.
Moe's BBQ has a beautiful ambiance and a simple, straightforward menu, which I appreciated. However, my experience with the smoked burger and mac & cheese was disappointing. The burger wasn't hot and didn’t seem grilled, though it was drenched in BBQ sauce, which I didn’t mind. Both the mac & cheese and burger were bland, with no standout flavors. For the price and portion, it didn’t feel like good value. Overall, Moes’s BBQ setting is nice, but the food quality fell short of expectations.
We did not realize it was a Halal restaurant until we arrived but that did not matter to us. There are no pork products available.nnThe food was awesome. We shared a platter with brisket, beef ribs, pulled beef, chicken, and two sides. It was plenty for 2 people. B The smoke was noticeable in all products and everything was tasty and not dry. The bbq sauce that it came with added a nice spice. For the sides we had mac and cheese and the beans. Mac and cheese was decent but the beans were more like bean soup - tasty but too much liquid.nnMoe's BBQ was clean and organized.nnThe service was VERY casual. The teenagers working were friendly and nice but just casual. A little more information and involvement with the customers would be nice.nnI would recommend eating here and I will go back again if I am in the area again.
