Moda Night Club

Why are the $9 mixed drinks only made with half a shot??? Seriously... I mean come on, I thought it was cool that they have a little nozzle that can be put on any liquor bottle to portion a shot for the bartender... but I ordered over 15 drinks and I confirmed that my eyes weren't deceiving me and it pours about 1oz of liquor.. Poor light display. I do not recommend going to sober (without pre-drinking) or if you are not bilingual. the music has a strong Spanish flavor.

I usually come here but my most recent experience made me never want to go back. We paid a good amount of money for a booth and it didn't even have seats! On top of that it was next to the side door so it was always cold and people were always knocking into the table. Not to mention the security guards spoke rudely about me in Spanish not knowing that my friend understood what they were saying. Overall I would not recommend this place.

My friends n I had the worst experience at moda! Very aggressive and rude staff. T DJ was Terri able never stop talking for once. The entire night was people moving side to side around knocking n pushing u. Could not even dance in peace. The show was distasteful! If I wanted I c naked assess I would have gone to a strip club!! Thanking u in advance! People was also smoking in the club.

NEVER CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY OR SPEND MONEY AT MODA!!!!! My friend recently celebrated her birthday at Moda and it was a complete mess from beginning to end. First off, they double booked her booth and literally put her in a section that was right beside their kitchen even though she booked a booth in the upper level. Let me remind you, it was her actual birthday that night so after giving them a hard time, they had to move her to where she wanted to be seated and promised her a complimentary champagne for messing up the booking. Even though she had a booth, they made everyone do coat check (which I have never experienced) and gave two of her friends who came a little after a hard time getting in. The bottle service girl sucked and was literally never seen again for the rest of the night after she brought out the alcohol. My friend also brought a cake that was supposed to be served at 1:00 AM. When 1:30 rolled around, she reminded them to bring the cake and champagne out together by no later than 1:50 because they cannot serve you after 2:00 AM. Of course they never brought it out by 1:50 so my friend had to physically go to the back and find a person to serve her the champagne and cake ON HER BIRTHDAY. At this point, it was approaching 2:15 AM so they didn't want to serve the cake (AFTER THEY WERE THE ONES WHO FORGOT TO SERVE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE) and said that they are no longer serving her the complimentary champagne either, even though they owed her one for messing up the booking of her booth.They tried giving her a voucher for free champagne on her next visit but she she didn't even take it because she is never going back. If you want better service and a better time, I suggest sticking to the clubs you know in downtown Toronto. Moda's service, staff, management and crowd is whack. Think twice before going to or planning any type of event at this "club".

NOT A GOOD PLACE!. How does a young male go to this club to celebrate a Christmas get-together with co-workers, only to be SEVERELY BEATEN up by the employees of the club (bouncers), and to have his PHONE STOLEN. Perhaps it's time to INVOLVE THE POLICE. Bouncer's who think they have carte-blanche in a bar area need to be taught a lesson. Time to have them brought up on charges so this does not happen to anyone else.
