Mitchells Carpet Care

I've just had a Satino Azure Noble Storm carpet fitted in my master bedroom. Jim was excellent throughout the buying and keeping me informed process. The fitters were polite, good humoured and very professional, as you can see from the photo's the post in the room didn't make this an easy fit. I chose Mitchells, as previously they had fitted carpets in my dining room, lounge, stairs, landing, study and my daughter's bedroom. A great independent company that I would recommend.

I have been using Mitchell’s carpets for over seven years and I no longer shop around as the service is excellent. We’ve had an entire rental house carpeted and then three of our own rooms in our house. The team are very patient, especially when you need guidance on colour matching and ensure you purchase the right carpet for each room. The carpet fitters are efficient and have always turned up on time and fitted all of our carpets to a high standard. We will continue to use Mitchell’s and support local businesses.

Excellent service. They carpeted our loft extension and although we hadn’t finished our downstairs plastering, they very kindly enabled us to order the matching carpet to make it more cost effective. They then stored it for us for a few months before fitting it when we were ready. The quality of the carpet and fitting was excellent. We were especially impressed with how helpful they were and will definitely return when we need anything else carpeted.

I used Mitchell's to have my kitchen and bathroom floors replaced. Screed on concrete finished with LVT, luxury vinyl tiles. Very efficient and fine result.

I recently had two bedroom carpets and Amtico flooring laid in a large area. I am so pleased with the results in all the rooms. The advice provided in store was excellent and measuring was done really quickly. The fitters were all great - the carpet fitters were so quick we barely even knew they were there and they didn't leave a mark on the newly decorated rooms, unlike fitters from other firms we've used before. The workmanship of the guys laying the Amtico is flawless. The floor is perfect.

We had nearly sealed the deal for carpeting our apartment with one of the large carpet companies, but thought we would just walk across town and check out this business. We were really impressed with Jimmy and Sam and so made the purchase with them. The guys who came to fit the carpet were absolutely brilliant. Funny, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, helping move heavy furniture with ease and putting it back where it belongs afterwards. They made an excellent job of fitting the carpet, and needless to say, we are over the moon with the carpet and Mitchell's. Thanks a lot guys.

Great family company to work with. Selection and ordering of the carpet was very straightforward, with advice given when sought. Fitting was done expertly on the day that we requested. Fitters dealt with an existing fitted wardrobe without any problem and left the room neat and tidy. Overall a great experience. Would use Mitchell's again without hesitation.

One of the few remaining traditional businesses in the area and the customer service compliments this. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and Sam went out of his way to come round, go through all the different options and talk through the pricing structures versus quality. We chose a mid range neutral colour for bedrooms, landing and stairs and because we are renovating and wasn’t ready to have it all laid at once they kept some in storage for a number of months without charge and without charge for 2nd visit. Completely happy with everything absolutely 5 star thank you ! Support them - pricing is equal if not better than larger conveyor belt competitors!

We ordered new carpets for the whole of the upstairs. Very happy, great service. Carpet fitters were very helpful in moving around the v heavy bits of furniture. Would recommend.
