Story

Three hundred trees shade this oasis in the heart of Missoula. Use this KOA as your base camp for an abundance of recreational opportunities. Area outfitters offer whitewater rafting and world-class fishing on the many rivers. Hike and bike wilderness areas around Missoula or explore riverfront trails in town. Enjoy golf, theater, shopping, museums, galleries, pubs and dining. At KOA, try your luck at mini golf, rent a fun-bike, take a dip in the heated pool or soak in a hot tub. Fuel up at the KOA Kafe with a scrumptious buffet breakfast, then enjoy a huckleberry sundae in the evening (seasonal). Choose from Deluxe Cabins, Camping Cabins, premium RV patio sites as well as RV, van and pickup camper sites and tent sites. You'll find a community campfire area, playgrounds for kids, two large fenced dog walks and a K9 park for furry family members.

Immaculate grounds and common areas. Nice sized spots. Close to all things Missoula, and easy on/off all the major roads. Only stayed overnight but wish I had more time to spend here. Will be back.

Very friendly! The staff was great, met us at the office, checked us in fast, and led us straight to our spot. The live music that night was very nice. They had an ice cream booth open selling ice cream. The huckleberry ice cream with huckleberry sauce was wonderful. The only down side was that it is a big and crowded campsite, but has plenty of amenities.

Clean, neat, pristine campground. We've stayed here every year for the past 8 hrs and they just keep improving the grounds. This is our favorite KOA of all that we've stayed at. Nice folks, too. The lawn between sites look like golf course quality. *Bonus: for a couple bucks, you can get a bowl of fresh huckleberry ice cream/sundaes!

I came to this KOA hoping to rent a tent site for one week. I recently moved to Missoula and my car broke down on the trip. I work a five minute walk from the campgrounds. I have cash and card available to pay for my stay. That didn't matter because after being dropped off with tent and 2 bags I was told by a very rude man, "are you trying to stay here?" "Because you cant stay here without a car." He then walked away. I checked the website again just now and didn't find anywhere that a car is a requirement. I will NEVER recommend thus place to anyone.

Our first time at a KOA. This place is so beautiful and well kept up. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't even have a reservation and they found us one close to the dog park which there were actually more than one. We highly recommend this place if you like people and dogs. It was even very quiet at night.
