Several years ago, we LOVED this restaurant. Great food, great drinks, always busy! We ate there this evening. We had a very nice waitress. The food was just “okay”. Cold rice, watery beans. First margarita, not good. She remade our margarita and it was great. We will not be going back again. Not sure what happened but it was very disappointing.
this is truly a hidden gem! the staff were very kind and inviting. the food?! absolutely delicious and very fairly priced. drinks were delightful. this is restaurant is absolutely worth visiting!
We love it here. Told a 25 minute wait for take-out and it was more like 45, but it’s a Friday night so what’re you gonna do? Food was excellent per usual. Friendly helpful staff at the door & bar.
Food was amazing and a great portion. Menu is limited. The guava mojito wasn't good, I only tasted the alcohol. Their chips were cold, and you have to buy the sauce separately, and it's not even enough for the huge number of chips. They give you a little pitcher of water, but no glass with ice, and the water tasted like the literally just got poured from the faucet. At least give some ice. Server was nice.
I went in tonight with my service dog. When I was seated, the waitress yelled to a waiter in the back, “I have one coming with a service dog!” She has essentially yelled to the restaurant that I am disabled. I could look past this as an honest mistake. At the end of my meal as I was leaving, I asked if I could make a suggestion. She said yes and I proceeded to explain politely that if she wanted to be more welcoming, she should not yell to the restaurant that there was a service dog and that she was basically yelling that I was disabled. She snapped at me that she was allowed to explain herself and that she didn’t want children or staff to trip over my dog. My dog was attached to me and there were no children so it didn’t make sense. I was disappointed by her attitude and ableist ideas. She did not take in what I had to say and will probably continue this practice. If you would not yell that a wheelchair was coming through, you shouldn’t yell that a service dog is.
