Very clean, well-groomed sites and amenities. Staff was incredibly friendly, and overall would be a great place to bring an RV and family with kids. If tenting, I’d recommend trying to book site 67 or another lot right on the water - great for fishing we caught nothing, but our much more skilled neighbour caught a small mouth bass very quickly. Pros: Lovely small lake with fishing, swimming and boating opportunities. General store offered a variety of goods and the bathrooms/showers were immaculate for a campsite. Cons: No dogs allowed on the beach. This meant we didn’t get the chance to swim, so enviously watched as families swam out to the dock.
Loved our stay here. Our kids had so much fun. It is nice and clean. Loved the lake and the beach. Will definitely come back.
We love it here . The WiFi mostly only works at the store but there is another WiFi service available unrelated to the campground for $20/week. Less by month. Works great.
This is a great campground for kids. It has a great little beach, fishing docks, and the water is warm and clean for swimming. The family-friendly facilities and layout is the reason I'll be back. I felt comfortable letting my kids wander off to explore and bike on their own. The facilities are clean and a little dated, but overall well-maintained. Some things like the swings could use a little maintenance. This does not have the space and privacy of a provincial campground. Sites are small and very close together.
The sites without hooks were exactly what I needed and right on a cute little lake. It was beautiful. Lake is great for families and swimming or paddling. Definitely will go back.
Choose your spot wisely based on whether or not you want to a socialize with grandparents b want your kids to play with other kids, or c want relative peace and quiet and privacy. Each one is available here but choosing the wrong site may not be fun. We fall into the c category above liked our spot and the camp generally. Water in the lake is clean and relatively warm. Wifi and cell service was practically non-existent at the far end of the camp sites 45-49, 80, etc. Good clean washrooms and showers. Some tent sites had a nice blend of sun/shade.
I've enjoyed visiting this property for over 33 years, it continues to exceed my expectations. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality
We arrived at 1am without reservation and Tanya picked up the phone and took the time to accommodate us. Very good service and beautiful campground. Definitely recommend!
Lovely spot... Recommended for the nice Lakeview Dr and the clean bathrooms. Bring cash and leave the cellphone behind. No signal.
Fun little campground. Seems like it's been there for a hundred years. The lake is warmer than Kootenay Lake. So great for families and kids. Not many yahoos when I've been there.
