Visited the bison. Due to flooding they are being contained in a small area near the road. Easy to find with the help of locals. Don’t get too close or try to interact with the calves!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Free but no Bison anymore during winter time.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Had to walk a few trails before finding any bison but was pleasantly.surprised to find a suspension bridge and heritage village- very affordable and a great way to spend an hour or two
There are a couple of ways to get to the Bison Park. By Vehicle, there is a spot off the main road to turn, it's clearly marked and there is room for some parking, a platform to look out and see the bison and it's also a great spot for a picnic. You can also find the back of this through the walking trails starting at the dam or at the heritage village. It's one of my favorite spots to visit
Nicely groomed, easily traversed path. Just the right length for a leisurely walk. Joins up with other walking paths with a variety of scenery. Got to see the first bison calf of 2021!
This was a happy accidental discovery while we took a quick detour through Minnedosa. I'm so glad we stopped and checked it out. It's a simple viewing area with lots of parking and I will definitely be back to see these awesome fluffy dudes again!
Pretty neat spot to see large bison.
Very cool! 10 baby bison and 12 adults the big male was not happy we were so close.
What a sight! Well worth the trip to this park. Enjoyed it very very much.
