Minnedosa Beach Campground is a Town owned and operated Campground on the shores of man-made Lake Minnedosa. There are a great variety of sites. Some are small, some are large. Some have thick trees, some are in the open and some are in-between. Some are unserviced, some are partially serviced and some are full-service. Some sites are of grass and some are on gravel. Most are fairly level. There is a beach and multiple children’s play areas. The Campground is well kept, has great services and is walking distance from Town. The Town has done a great job of development and of making their local history easy to understand. The adjacent lake is open to a great variety of watersports. Canoes and kayaks are available for rental in the Campground.
Well maintained Campground. It has everything you need to have fun and be comfortable. Bathrooms are fully functional and there are coin operated showers available. Beaches are a great spot to spend the day with the family. The kids can blow off extra steam at the large playground they have right near the beach.
Amazing place. Great location…close to the beach & with the hiking trails, the Bison park, Heritage Village & town all within walking distance it was perfect for us. And so much to do in the RV park with the beach, playgrounds &, a water playground on the beach no need to leave the park to keep busy or just relax. Both the RV park and quaint little town were gems. .
What an amazing place! The campsites are lovely and level and the staff are some of the friendliest people you'll come across. The beach is spotless, the lake beautiful and warm. I would highly recommend this as a stop for anyone camping.
Great service at a difficult time regarding weather! Many lots were flooded due to the large amounts of rain in the area but Rodney was out everyday working at pumping out lots and digging trenches to direct drainage and doing whatever he could to make it better for campers! Thanks Rodney:
Nice campsites, we were by the soccer pitch, close to lake and beach. Very busy with families, seems like a great spot for kids. We are travelling to another destination so only stayed one night.
Do you love the sound of generators? Do you want to hear generators all night and all day? Then this place is for you! If not don't go! Why they allow generators in a camp ground that offers fully services spots is beyond me.
Super cool place for RV families. As a camper and in this setting YMMV. The campground was nice, not overly buggy. Nice access to the beach, park, and other facilities. Washroom facilities were excellent. Campsites are pretty close to each other, but at the rates for 2020, this is an excellent place with services for car camping.
Great campground. Lots to do for children, the floating obsticle course amused them for hours and burned them out well. The beach was not huge but clean and the water is warm. 15amp campsite was next to useless with tired old breakers that trip way to easily. Other than that great trip and will visit again.
Beautiful grounds and beach areas. Well kept and clean. We were there shortly after the flooding, but we loved our stay there. Kayak club people are enthusiastic and helpful. Highly recommended!
