A local recommended to eat here and it was a good choice. The waitresses were friendly and the food was good! Loved the chowder and pulled pork! My husband enjoyed his pan-fried haddock too. He always loves the option of pan-fried over battered.

A group of four, all had hot, tasty food nicely served, well portioned with the exception of me. I ordered a bowl of seafood chowder with a side of garlic bread. The soup was very tasty almost hot enough but ... it was served with a teaspoon to eat it with. The order of garlic bread served with it was one tiny slice of French bread plus one tea biscuit. The tea biscuit was rock hard, totally inedible. Another person at the table had a cup of the same chowder. It was almost the same quantity but at less than half the price. Unfortunately our server, Melinda, did not return to check on us until we had all finished eating so no correction could be sought at the outset. She apologized, ended up removing the chowder and garlic bread charge but too late to ensure all enjoyed their meal. So many errors should not occur with one meal.
I was truly blown away at the service we received here. After travelling for a few hours to connect with an old friend, we were struggling to find a nice spot to sit and eat, but also chat and catch up. My friend had a newborn, so ensuring that she was comfortable was important. We found Miller's by accident but were so pleased we did! The menu had so many amazing options, so we told the waiter we would order two things and share them. When they brought our food to the table, they had actually plated our meals split in half to share already! It was so unbelievably thoughtful and made such a difference to our experience. We were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived, and sat next to the fireplace where it was warm since the day was rainy and cold. When we asked after eating if we could continue to sit and visit a while longer, they told us there was no rush and even replenished our hot water for our tea. Exceptional service. Food was very tasty too! Well plated, great flavour, all around an amazing and hospitable experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice spot to dine with family or friends.
