We went to the Millennium square for the Fall Fling October 19. It’s in Pickering by the marina and the beach Lake Ontario. Parking can be busy as the day goes by. We went to pay with the app and it said it wasn’t available so we didn’t know if it was free on the weekends. It’s a beautiful area and gets pretty crowded. We walked to the pier and saw the lighthouse. We got ice cream at the ice cream parlour. There’s a few restaurants. Also a paddle board and kayak rentals. We have come to this area many times. It’s so nice that I wouldn’t mind living in one of those nice townhouses.
Been going to ajax waterfront for the last 6 months thinking that this is nice and calming, but after finding Millennium Square Pickering, I'm definitely switching over for the upcoming 6 months! Such a relaxing and awesome place, got some cool pics of a swan, and also saw wedding shoots happening which was cool!
Looks amazing down here. A great place to hang out along side of lake Ontario
On Victoria Day morning, the weather was beautiful. Strolled to the lighthouse and back. Then went to the beach and took the Alex Roberson Park loop. It was about 5km. The place is getting busier day by day. Parking was not an issue at present. Enjoyed the walk and scenery.
A beautiful area to spend a day. If you’re driving, there’s a parking lot on the left side close to the beach. For those coming from the Go station it’s a beautiful 20 minutes walking by lovely houses. The beach has excellent facilities such as washrooms and picnic area. It’s an unsupervised swimming area, be careful and you will enjoy a perfect day!
