it’s beautiful here however the beach has become somewhat of a dumping ground. people clearly don’t clean up after themselves and it’s too bad. however it is a nice place to come when you want to get close to the water but don’t want the overcrowded feel. the trails are neat and the information boards are actually interesting!
Lovely beach area despite the view of the Pickering Plant. The length of the beach stretches far, but the width of the sand area by the water is short, which makes it great for a more secluded stay with less crowding. The tree line that backs off the beach is great for shade. There are picnic areas for BBQing. BYO food and drink, or Uber restaurants are in distance of the beach. It is ideal to arrive before 10am to find parking.
Nice place to go for a walk with the family. The city has put a ton of time, effort and money into the drive in. I gave 4 / 5 stars because I liked it better when you could drive in closer to the Bay. The walk isn't close anymore to launch Kayaks Or canoes
It's wonderful to hear about improvements in the area with new sightseeing attractions! Exploring new places can be a great way to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings.
It was a fantastic small intimate beach to enjoy. Great place for families and all. Great place to take memorable photos. You will see wind surfers and and enjoy the ocean fresh breeze. You can walk the trail or stay put to look beyond the water. Very cozy and comfortable place.
