The park is beautiful, well maintained and has a lot of nature. It is family and pet friendly. It has public bathrooms. It is a good place to practice many different sports including jogging and running. Also good for a picnic or to enjoy good time outside with family, pets and friends. The only thing preventing it to be 5 stars is that it does not have lights enough to enjoy it when it is dark.
Absolutely wonderful park to walk around with the family. Lots of playgrounds and smooth trails around the gorgeous lake. We went after the GeoWoodstock event and had a great time in the sunset lighting. Lots of geese, ducks, and blackberries!!
Nice 45 minute walk around the lake. Dogs permitted on leash only. Kids parks, seating, picnic tables some covered garbage cans and restrooms around walkway. Beautiful large trees, lots of ducks and geese. A small wharf with seating by a small parking lot. Signs up for trails. Two trails...1 is paved and the other is parallel closer to the lakes edge covered in bark mulch. Not safe to walk in the dark but safe during the day as other walkers of all ages are walking the trail. Lake is not for swimming but you can do some fishing. Large water feature in the middle of the lake. No place to grab food or drink along the trail. Nice place to walk preferably not alone Playground: Lots of playgrounds just off the trail in many areas Restrooms: Yes, restrooms just off the trail in many areas Dog-friendliness: Absolutely, dogs on leash only Picnic area: Yes, lots just off the trail in many areas
Nice little park, can get a bit crowded on sunny days. But great for a 25-45 min walk around the lake. Lots of ducks, a cute little art gallery, a few cool playgrounds, lots of dog spottings
Nice place to go for a walk. Has raised bridge areas of trail around the lake. Lots of nice places to sit and relax. Dogs welcome. Humans on leashes please.
What an amazing gem to have in the middle of a big city! So much to do and lots of benches to do nothing except enjoy the view! Super nice people from every age group and ethnicity. We would gladly visit again!
Beautiful place, with paved walkway all the way around the lake, there are three different kids toy areas at every entrance. Lots of benches by the water to sit on the walk around, few boardwalks that go out onto the water. Lots of canada geese, ducks and turtles. It takes roughly 15 minutes to walk around, gorgeous lake & park. Also beautiful walk in the winter when the fog, and snow are out with the lake all frozen.
Beautiful!! Small lake but impressive especially in a sunny day with lot of clouds. The loop is around 2km.
Good for all ages whether you want to walk or take your kids to one of the three excellent playgrounds. The boardwalk is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the ducks.
Very good lake just like Lake Ontario Found many miniature islands owned by Abbotsford police department. Loved the whole lake as it freezes in winter and shoppi carts are found submerged when you go fishing here
