Great place for walks jogs or bike rides be it short or long one. Eagles can sometimes be spotted perched on the trees along the river bank. Scenic and pretty peaceful.
Plenty of room for your picnic, great to walk your dog, there are fire pits, nice big picnic tables and lots of parking...did I mention the beautiful view with the beach where you can also fish? Can be a little noisy with the hwy over the head but really I didn't hear the noise just the birds around on trees. Loved it.
Gentle level walk along the river. Wide popular path with fresh level gravel. Pit toilets at parking are kept clean and don't smell.
Excellent, easy-going trail. Icy in spots on the day we went. Nice meandering trail through forests and farmland.
Parking lot is always busy, trail is nice, but also very busy, and upper trail can be very windy
Close to the tracks, be rail safe and do not walk-run-play near any track.
