The sides of our entrees left something to be desired. My wife's fries were Cole so we had to send those back. My pasta did not have a lot of flavour. Needed more pesto at least probably some more garlic? Her fish tacos those were spectacular. Ton of flavour and would recommend those. My two slices of chicken Parm were very tasty and recommend that as well. Good service and nice restaurant and location. Would return overall.
A really great dining experience from beginning to end. I came on a holiday during a down time. The hostess and waiter were exceptional and very accommodating. The small but delightful menu is on the pricier side but is well worth it. I had the mushroom chicken and the gf had steak. I'll definitely be back and will recommend to my friends.
I'll start of by saying Brunch was delicious, food was mostly done nicely which deserves the stars however 2/4 meals the eggs were cold and the plate was hot which feels to us that it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. But you could tell the place was understaffed. As we could see there was only 1 server and it took an hour to get our food. We witness other people sitting after us and getting their food before us. After he dropped our food off, he rushed off and we had to stop him quickly to get a drink order and the drink didn't arrive until we were finished and ready to go. Lots of potential for this place but the service could use some work.
Went to Mikesyone for the first time since it was built. And the waiter was friendly and polite. The food was amzaing there. I ordered 1989 buger and was delicious. My family memeber ordered the steak samewich. When they brought the meal out mine was nice and hot, but the other meal was cold. We notifed the waiter who appoligies and got a new steak samwhich made up. The second one came out perfect. For the issue they gave us one free dessert and a samlle of their Bellini which was amazing. I would deffently will go back there again.
To start, we were greeted quickly at the door and just as quick to be shown to a table. Thursday evening, May 19th it was our 21st wedding anniversary, and we're hoping for a good evening. Our expectations were far exceeded by the speed of the food arriving at our table, the meals were awesome! And most of all, our server, Emma, needs a big raise! She was super! Always attentive, in spite of it being a busy night! And when we mentioned it was our anniversary, she gave us free dessert! And the steaks...oohh...heavenly! As was the rest of the items also.Did I mention that Emma needs a raise? We voted. Thank you Emma! Bill & Marcia
It was a mutual delight coming in from an unusually hot August day. The crisp clear cool air was an instant relief upon entering their front foyer. The attending host came to us quickly and escorted us to a pleasantly situated booth. While waiting for our waiter I was pleasantly surprised to find that I did not need to ask for a password to access their wifi. Once the waiter came over and introduced himself as Peter, we placed our orders. It was convenient that he automatically brought us 2 iced glasses of refreshingly cold water. Pat, my wife, took delight in noting his name was the same as her brother. Peter smiled and noted that we'd have, "no trouble remembering his name then". Laughing, we agreed. I ordered the 1989 Burger and chose the side of Ceasar salad. Pat asked for the Tai Basil Noodles. Both of us enjoyed our meals as prepared and Pat took extra satisfaction in knowing she had more than enough left over to cover her dinner later on that night. Pat was a little saddened to learn that they no longer give out Scene points. Peter noted that it had stopped shortly after Milestones had been taken over by a larger conglomerate. I do not recall his exact words but he did note that Milestones is still a Canadian company. I noted interesting items upon their walls. An intricate model plane that appeared ready for remote control once taken off the wall. A nice display of 4 at least older cameras on the far wall from us. In another room I noted a couple really beautiful paintings upon the fronts of skateboards hung upon their walls. Overall pleasant experience at this Milestones. We both look forward to being back some future day.
We went on a Saturday evening for my wife's birthday with our family. We made a reservation through the website and followed up by phone to add another person. We really enjoyed our experience. The service was very good. It was prompt and efficient. We had cocktails to start. I had a mohito and my wife had the peach belinni. Both were very good. I had sea bass and my wife had wagu meatloaf. The plates were beautifully presented and the food was delicious. Because we are managing our diets, this was an exception. But we did take care to look up the nutritional information first on Milestones' website. I appreciated that all information for everything on their menu was available for download as a pdf. My sea bass entree was 980 calories and my wife's meatloaf was 1200. Full ingredients and allergen information is also included in the document. I ate my full entree and my wife took on slice of the mealoaf home. We did not have appetizers or desert. My only possible "concern" is the portion size. Each entree was quite large and was about $30. One improvement could be to reduce the serving sizes and prices and make it easier to have an appetizer and possibly desert for a longer and even more enjoyable dining experience. However, this is nothing that can't be resolved with a takeout container as a workaround. Still, I prefer dining in and having the benefit of the full dining experience. I recommend Milestones and will return in the future.
Excellent service! Scott was awesome. All three of us ordered the salmon. Very generous servings, perfectly cooked and tasted delicious!
First time eating here to celebrate my husband's birthday. Great ambiance and comfy cozy booths. Wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. Provided great wine suggestions with our meals. My husband loved the Chimichurri Sea Bass. I had the Wagyu Beef Meatloaf which had a lovely mushroom gravy. Our son had the steak frites and it was perfectly cooked to his specifications. Desserts were excellent and my husband could choose any dessert he wanted for his Birthday. He chose the White Chocolate Cheesecake, our son had the Cookie and I had the Apple Rhubarb Cobbler. We will definitely return!
Had the Surfside Salad at milestones and it is truly the BEST restaurant salad ever. Very delicious dish. Medium rare salmon in the middle and smoky grilled jumbo shrimp on the sides plus the pineapple and sweety peppers just Mmmm Very nice.
