Ordered the 73" felt bo staff case. I called ahead of time to make sure they would actually fit my 72" - I was hesitant because a few online were super snug. I placed my order online as shipping was cheaper than driving out to Vancouver about$16.00 to my door. I got my package 2 days later - shipped safely in a box and was exactly what I ordered and fits both of my bo. Very happy! Will need to stop by sometime in person - I'll bring enough cash to make it well-worth it, too! Thank you!
They have everything martial arts here. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Their in house brand gloves, pads and wraps are good and affordable and they also have nice Hayabusa and Fairtex stuff.
Purchased two pairs of the Asahi Stretch Hand Wraps Green and Black. Love the durability and width and the wider velcro straps which hold strong . Fast shipping. Highly recommend. Definitely will be ordering more in the future
Please be cautious about shopping this store’s own brand. I bought a pair of their boxing gloves which is priced the same as a Hayabusa glove and it ripped on the inside the very first time I wore it to training. The gloves also do not breath at all and my hand sweat excessively in them. It was a very disappointing experience to give this store’s brand gloves a go instead of buying a known brand that is priced equally as theirs
Went and picked up a Gi. They were friendly and helped me find the right size. They have a solid selection of martial arts equipment. This is the place for your martial arts gear and equipment!
Great customer service and good selection of martial arts products
Love this place! They have a decent range of brands but most importantly they have the GOOD brands. The customer service is phenomenal and the hours are pretty decent. A fantastic martial arts store that deserves support.
Made our first purchase at Mikado today and the people working there were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The lady took all the time for my wife to try on multiple pairs of shin pads, and answered every question we had. All in all we were in the store for an hour and never felt pressured to buy anything at any point.
I was searching for a gi that fit me right, and found the exact right one at Mikado. Because I ordered online, and don't live in Vancouver, I was a little worried that buying it without trying it on might not work out, but Brandon took the time to work with me and find the perfect gi, and a few other items. Everything arrived quickly and it's perfect. Very helpful, prompt, and overall great experience. Looking forward to my next order there!
