An Italian American Resturaunt, family owned & operated for almost 50 yrs

Story

Founded in 1963 by Michael Capizzi, the tradition has carried on for 3 generations. Still operating out of the original building in the heart of the "Little Italy" district of Niagara Falls , Michaels is know for it's authentic Italian dishes.

This restaurant was recommended by my employer who frequents Niagara Falls, NY and Buffalo area. It looks more like a diner, but don't be fooled!! Food was amazing and "generous portions" is an understatement!! Prices are super reasonable and staff was friendly (even though we got in and ordered around 9:30pm and they close at 10!). Lots of people there and more coming I for pick-ups. Seriously good food. The greens and beans soup was simple and savory. The veal parmigiana was perfect and the pasta sauce really is something you want more of and then some! Will definitely add this to the must stop at restaurant list next time we're coming through. Thanks for the great food and service 😊

Great food and atmosphere. The meal portions will leave most people with leftovers for the next day. Food was prepared at a quick pace and came out hot. The restaurant is smaller so seating is a little tight. Soda appeared to be brands I didn't recognize, but was still good.

The best red sauce I have ever had at a restaurant. The wait staff were very helpful and just excellent. As a father of two, sometimes getting kids to eat something that's not a hot dog can be challenging but not here. The only reason their plates weren't empty is because the portions were huge.

Mom and I go to lunch here every Wednesday. Always have a great meal, the homemade soup are amazing. Our waitress Robin is great, always friendly, and knows us well, she can write up our order before we even tell her what we want. Highly recommend!

We went because of all the good reviews here on google, but we were disappointed. The homemade Italian dressing was just olive oil and vinegar and really plain. The entrees were big portions, but the tomato sauce watery and tastes like out of a can. The meatballs didn't had any flavor and nothing was spiced. I had a goat cheese cream sauce which tastes like 6 sticks of butter melted. The prochiotto that was supposed to be in my sauce was non-existent. If you know what Italian food tastes like I would NOT recommend this place!
