My duct cleaning was due May2022 but I had procrastinated due to health reasons. I had mine done the last time by Coit and more recently two of my friends got theirs done by Home Depot and I was able to see first hand what the difference in service & fees and value between Home Depot & MASDuct cleaning. I had phoned Coit since I realized that they had done my furnace / duct cleaning back in 2018 and with all the extra upswells in my opinion it was almost close to $600! Yikes. I spoke to Kevin several times and he was patient and very knowledgeable and I felt no pressure to book or commit to services through them. He clearly knew about the NADCA certification and confirmed they follow those guidelines and from my research previously that is one of the first questions I ask in making my decision about furnace/duct cleaning…on the contrary; the Home Depot tech who attended at my friend’s place while I was there had never heard about NADCA and I realized while their base price was cheaper with all the upsells for: extra vents, furnace ‘cleaning’ the price was pretty much the same as MAS! The Home Depot tech was in and out in about 30-45mins at the most and that’s me being generous even with the guy making the holes as it had NEVER been cleaned for 15years…while Liam/Spencer from MAS were at my place for almost 2hours and took the time to explain what they were doing and why etc which I appreciated even though I told them I was aware of NADCA. They were not only professional but friendly and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone; so much so that I had Kevin’s office send me a offer for the other 68 owner’s at our Greyhawk townhouse complex! My neighbour across had some questions for me and Liam even kindly agreed to walk across and look at my neighbour’s furnace etc even though they had it cleaned by another non-NADCA certified tech from another company and he gave her the right advice especially as she mentioned a doctor had advised them to get their ducts cleaned as her son had severe allergies and his nose bleed as a result of the air quality! Kevin is very transparent and they do NOT upsell / charge you for extra vents, furnace ‘cleaning’. The only thing I paid for was the sanitization which was still $20 cheaper than the Home Depot price. All in all I think I really got value for my money so much so that I told Kevin I hate to admit it but maybe his price was too low and shared my Coit quote with him. His price is also reflective of whether you have ever had your ducts cleaned as per NADCA guidelines else it takes extra time to cut the holea to create the plenums for the negative ion pressure and which I know for a fact is the right way as per NADCA guidelines!! So PLEASE support this local business and the kind people who run and work there.
I have Been their client for 13 years . I'm one happy costumer . They are very professional and very thorough with their job and as a business owner I simply focus on my job and let them do theirs and feel safe and taken care of . Great team lead by a great leader Michael.
They need to have driver training! Was cut off by one of their drivers on Hwy 10 & 132 Ave at 2:30 pm heading west bound. We used them at our strata but I will have them removed now as a safety concerns. As to your response. Do you have a rear bumper cam? If not your response is useless and unfounded. Your drivers rear bumper would have touched my front bumper if I didn't smah on the brakes. I would park that close to some in a stall parking lot that he went.
