Came here by recommendation by a friend. It was absolutely delicious! The food was plentiful for the price you pay, and absolutely delicious - I can't say that enough! The staff are super friendly and helpful in terms of what certain items are. The atmosphere is amazing - even got a little live show as a bonus. I highly recommend coming here if you would like some flavourful and delicious Mexican food! Vegetarian options: A vegetarian menu is available
One of my favorite places to go! The food here is always excellent and the service is stellar. I tried their nachos for the first time and they are the best I've ever had. Will definitely be ordering them again!! We shared the nachos as a meal along with the enchiladas Verde - so good!
It was Taco Tuesday* and we were in the area so we went to give this place a try. There were a few other diners so we reckoned it would be a nice enough place. The floor was clean and there was Mexican music videos on the TVs. We had to wait a while for a server to bring us to a table and when one did, she left no menus. Luckily while waiting I had seen where they were and went and served myself. When the young lady came back, we ordered a couple dishes to share with each other she told told us that we would get an extra taco on each plate *. The food arrived soon enough and looked quite nice. We really like the taste, but thought the serving was still small for the price. When we got the bill, we tried to put in a 10% tip, but the machine forced us to give a 15% tip. I decided to leave cash on the table, but the only options were 15% or 20%. That kind of manipulation is not for me, so I can't recommend or return.
I wish I had pictures of the food but it was devoured too quickly - so an empty plate will have to do! What an amazing time we had this evening, I would recommend to anyone travelling to Edmonton to make the journey to have dinner here. We spend under $30pp and we all had mains, drinks and a dessert admittedly dessert was shared. To finish; it’s the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had in Canada.
I was invited to Mexico Lindo by a friend and as soon as I drove up the the restaurant I was impressed . We were welcomed by a beautiful young lady who arranged seating for us, and took great care of us the entire evening. Let's get to the good part, the FOOD it was so delicious and portion sizes were huge, and served in this black volcanic rock shaped like a bowl. We started with chips and guacamole and salsa, everything was so fresh. The taco shells came out nice and warm. The meat and seafood was so flavourful and taste. There was octopus and clams, and the owner came over to meet and greet us. I can go on and on about this place, it's fantastic.
I can see why this restaurant has over 1200+ reviews with an average of 4.4 stars! This place didn't disappoint, my girlfriend and I came here as we love Mexican food. I ordered the Tacos de suadero and she ordered the Tacos al pastor, both were so delicious! We also tried the guacamole, it was thick and chunky; the way I usually make it at home. This was a nice bonus! We ended the night with an order of Pastel de 3 leches! It was just the right amount of desert to end our experience at this restaurant. Our server Melisa was super friendly and she had great timing when she came to see how our food was, I'd recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends! A++ food and service
Had the chicken enchiladas w mole sauce. It was really good. The place was busy but not so bad that it was loud. Atmosphere was great, our server was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend if your craving Mexican food!
It was ok but nothing special. The Pollo taco was dry and the shell fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The Mole tasted like it was on the stove top too long. Shrimp taco was ok. There was no depth or complexity in flavour. Service was nice.
First time here and we were given a booth with no menus. We waited a few minutes and finally got up and asked for menus. The waitress brought them after another few minutes and simply said we have QR code there. We personally don't like using QR codes and we heard at least 2 more tables asking for menus. So if you want physical menus make sure the hostess grabs them at the front or you'll be waiting a while. For drinks we had the pina colada and aqua de Jamaica. The pina colada was nice looking but definitely not worth it. To me it didn't really taste like a Pina colada very weak on flavour but you could taste the alcohol at least. The aqua de Jamaica which is a hibiscus iced tea was delicious. For the food we got the enchiladas verdes and the chilaquiles. Both were delicious and neither of them were particularly spicy though. The food came very quickly and despite the menus the waitress was very friendly. Overall we would go back since the main dishes were very good.
Food was not the best. The “Steak” was so extremely thin all you can taste is the fried breading around it. You can not even taste the actual meat. Food seemed a bit cold, did not taste fresh. Waiters forgot the utensils and were not even that enthusiastic until we paid considering we even tried to speak Spanish which is not even our first language The waitress was actually staring at the Payment Terminal possibly to see how much of a tip I was giving Made me quite uncomfortable. Giving 2 stars simply because I enjoyed the music.
