You can find plenty of stores, restaurants, and even a movie theater just a short walk away.nnThe platforms are spacious, and there are elevators and escalators for accessibility. However, it can get quite busy, especially during rush hours and weekends. It's well-lit and has security presence, which makes it feel safe at all times.nnThere are bike racks and nearby bus stops, making it a key transfer point for various modes of transportation. The views from the platforms are also quite nice, offering glimpses of the surrounding cityscape.nnOverall, Metrotown SkyTrain Station is efficient and convenient, making it a crucial part of the daily commute for many people in the area. Whether you're a local or a visitor, it's a great starting point to explore Burnaby and beyond.

This is a clean cut station not far from Hilton Metrotown where we were staying, besides the big mall nearby with 2 massive supermarkets with lots of unruly people who do not even know how to apologise for hitting you but simply laughing in their language hence being rather busy even during off peak:n- machines on the right to buy your ticket or day pass if you want to travel downtown with straight forward details how to buy the ticketn- large escalators taking you upstairs where clean cut trains come regularly. People seem to be polite during off peak and many wear masks, however all the seats were taken and lots of people were standing closer to downtown we stopped, witnessing something similarly when returningn- it feels safer than the major USA underground stations, more on par with the UK and EU stations in terms of safety

One of the busiest metro skytrain stations around is the mertotown station , its next to one of the biggest shopping malls in greater Vancouver area.

Located on the Expo line, Metrotown opened in 1985 and has been faithfully serving the Vancouver population ever since. There was a pretty good rebuild between 2015 and 2018 that improved capacity and the flow of passengers due to the shopping centers and multi-story living buildings that were added to the neighborhood. According to metrics, it is the second most busy terminal on the entire SkyTrain network.nnThe station is handicapped accessible with lift and escalators. There is also a pedestrian bridge across the road that leads to the bus terminal and shopping.nnIt is between Patterson towards Waterfront and Royal Oak towards King George or Production Way-University.

The station looks great visually and has four escalators two down and two up at both main entrances, but bus connections at this station can be annoying. If they actually re-integrated the pedestrian bridge into the station, so that passengers can use it to get to the bus loop/mall without crossing a busy road, I can justify giving a higher rating.
