A consistently excellent transit experience with TransLink and the Millennium Line, especially at Brentwood Town Centre Station.nBrentwood Station stands out as one of the most modern, efficient, and well-designed hubs in the system. The station is clean, bright, and thoughtfully organized, making transfers and daily commuting smooth and intuitive. Despite being a busy interchange, passenger flow is handled well, and the platforms feel safe and well maintained at all hours.nTrain arrivals are generally precise and reliable, reflecting the strong operational standards of the Millennium Line. The connection to the surrounding Brentwood area also makes it extremely convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and residential developments right outside the station.nOverall, Brentwood Station represents the best of Vancouver transit—clean, fast, and consistently dependable. A strong 5-star experience for both regular commuters and visitors alike.
You have to go downstairs to switch the terminals train direction, and you don't have to tap your card again.nnUnlike Metrotown Station, this station connects to the mall.nnThere are no restrooms, Bike Parkade, nor drinking fountains at this station.
Took the kids here on a Sunday morning and it was honestly the perfect time to go - the mall was still quiet enough that we weren't fighting crowds, and we found parking right away which never happens on a weekend. The food court has a solid variety so everyone got what they wanted without any meltdowns, which is basically a win in my books. My two always want to ride the escalators about fifteen times each, and the layout here is easy enough that I can actually keep an eye on them without losing my mind. We'll definitely be back for our weekend errands, it just makes the whole outing feel easy and low-stress.
This mall is not finished yet, but it is getting there. I am not doing a review on the mall itself, but I am doing one on the “Food Court”. I really like where they are going with this food court. I have not had a bad meal yet.nI have had food from “Gazba” it is a Persian Grill. They grilled up an absolutely fabulous salmon meal for me. It was a very large meal, too much to eat in one sitting, but the salmon - I ate it up! Gazba serves up delicious meals for a very reasonable price.nNext I had Shrimp Katsu Currey from “Sabotan” also reasonably priced and a lot of food. The shrimp were jumbo - so I am thinking more along the line of prawns. They were delicious even thought it was not my favourite batter on it. I am sorry to say I did not like the curry sauce, but I think that is a personal preference.nYugo- not reasonably priced, but still delicious. I forgot to take a picture but their Oshi Sushi is delightful. I had the double tiger shrimp Oshi. I recommend it. Normally I have everything tuna, but today I went with shrimp.nLast but not least - “Japadog” is in the mall! You cannot go wrong with Japadog when you like that type of fusion. I highly suggest any of their French-fries. And for those vegans out there, they got you too! Yes Japadog has tofu dogs.nThere are other places to eat in this food court and there are more coming. I cannot wait for the food court to fill up with more yummies for everyone’s tummies!
Great train station with direct access to the mall. Buses that serve this station include 130/222 Phibbs/Metrotown, 25 UBC and 123 New West
