Metro

If I could give it zero stars I would. Ever since the Walmart left the small the metro has gone downhill. Save your money and don’t bother going to the store. They have nothing on the shelves, what they do have isn’t fresh and usually outdated, and hopefully you don’t need anything lactose free because they definitely don’t have it. Go to Loblaw‘s down the street or Walmart at Bayshore. When a fresher and you will actually get what you need! Metros prices are way too high for what quality they sell.

The produce is overpriced and very low quality; often there are fruit flies surrounding the peaches and bananas. Went to the farm boy about 2 blocks away on Richmond road, the local organic peaches are the same price as the non organic low quality ones they sell at this metro. Not impressed. Seems to be consistent as well.

The amount of miss marked and awful/inedible grab a go food items is baffling. This mall just needs to be taken out of its misery and die already.

They sell ROTTEN MEAT, and REFUSE TO REFUND. I bought a pack of chicken breast in discount yesturday, and found them already rotten when I was about to cook them. I took photos of the meat and the lable, and went for refund with the receipt, but they refused to get me the refund saying 'you take your own risk for buying the discount food'. Excuse me, is it even legal to sell rotten food in a supermarket??? I'm glad that I noticed the mould spots and odor before rinsing the chicken breast, and will never by fresh from food here again and go to farmboy instead.
