Happy Thanks Giving! I bought two chickens from the Metro Barrie for the Thanks Giving Dinner instead of turkey yesterday! The chickens had no taste AT ALL!!! Alas, I normally smell the aroma of chicken while I am roasting already!!!! This time, I was wondering the chicken had no aroma - It had no aroma and Blah!! Oh, embarrassing moment: My family and guests were eating.... nobody said: "good;" "yummy," "U~ m~"... these are the normal compliments from my family and guests when I host. Oh ~ ~ I remember now, yes, I also bought other meat at metro in the past: Steaks - tough and no taste, pork chops- no taste... whatever I buy - the meat had no taste... and tough! The sad thing is, you imagine you are eating the meat, a piece of an expensive steak, and without thinking: "you're enjoying the meat", without tasting the meat. I don't know - am I alone here? They lost me as a customer. I was and am still furious! The trip to them is no beneficial for me; wasting gas, time...plus - eating meat without a taste of meat! I am still upset and disappointed after the guests left last night...

Open 24 hours. How convenient is that? Good selection too.

Great store always well stocked and clean. The Store Manager is always visible on the floor and so friendly...

I love shopping at the Metro, I can find everything I need and helpful staff to help when I can not. Well displayed fresh products. The only down side is the head of the seafood, a few times she does not look at the customer when asked a question and she is not friendly.

Clean, usually fast and friendly only problem is they're way overpriced, love that they sell cigarettes
