This Metro is a very good size for a supermarket they are following covid-19 guidelines and procedures. The prices I find that are reasonable and there seems to be a lot of choice in foods. Be hot it Deli counter look quite good and I've had the roasted chicken from there before and loved it
Clean location. Fresh veggies and bakery. Food choices are local to Canada. But able to find most ingredients and substitutes for others. Not over crowded, but busy. The parking lot needs repair.
We’ll you finally got self checkouts and everything was working like clockwork and then you decide to renovate and change the location of the self checks outs and it’s a terrible design. No room to move your carts around in such a small space. People can’t get by one another….bad move. And you have building material and a trailer parked in the customer parking lot which causes chaos outside. Geez guys….should have thought about that one!
Metro has the best premade foods around. They also have a lot of products other stores don't have. We often come here to order cakes because their bakery is great. Four stars due to it often being expensive, and sometimes their premade food is scarce because a lot of people go there just for that.
Usually really helpful and friendly staff at this store. Great quality produce. Better hours and cleaner store than any other grocery store in town.
Frequently out of product in meat dept, often lacking staff to assist at customer service. Renos look nice but they had limited supply of beef on sale in flyer, which is basically to be expected at this location for anything on sale.
Not so much about the store but the manager Mike Goddard I believe is his name. He is rude and condescending, not the first time I have had to deal with him. After a conversation I watched him stand at the front of the store with his hands in his pockets while I watched teenagers steal items, leave and return, take more items and return again. Didn't see what happened the last time. How a person like this becomes a manager is beyond me but you can be sure I would never shop there.
Great cruelty free selection!!! Love this store and workers are always so friendly, excellent customer service. My go to, for sure!
The inventory is well stocked, but the prices are not very competitive. Also the place have some dull ambience, doesn't look very lively may be due to the lighting or lack of music idk.
So, I decided to order a pizza from Metro. The local pizza places kept letting me down. Ordered my second pizza tonight, missed a few items, however. Locally, still leaps and bounds above everyone else local to the neighbourhood. Oh, and the price point for a stone oven baked pizza. Can’t miss! Hire more folks, build a second oven, offer limited delivery. They will come!
