I don''t know Dr. Alevizos, but I can tell you that most dentists are honest and descent people. However, I have experienced that some dentists are not capable of diagnosing pit and fissure decay; they solely use a sharp explorer to diagnose, which is no longer the standard of care. Perhaps you all should be complaining about the dentists that missed the diagnoses. By definition, lay people are not qualified to judge a professional. Leave it to the Board to determine the truth.

Took my 7 year old at the time for a cleaning and he ended up having two teeth removed, crows and everything you can imagine. I did think it was unnecessary but decided to trust her... now I came to find out she does this to a lot of patients. My son is 10 and have never had another cavity and he’s not the best at brushing his teeth. She was also completely rude, didn’t let me be in the room with him and he hated her. Also me and my mother in law. We just had this bad vibe about her.. now she’s on the news.. too bad for her!

Dr. Alevizos, has always been awesome with all 3 of my kids for years. They went to her for years and never once had a cavity. Zero cavatiys and 8 years of seeing her with 3 kids. She is through, absolutely! She never one time made me leave the room for ANY procedure she was doing with my kids. Her and her staff are great. She has a great sense of humor and ALL of her staff and hygienists are awesome to work with as well. I would recommend her to anyone.

I took my 4 year old son here a few months ago and was unimpressed from the beginning. The place was crowded and staff did not seem to have their act together and the dental assistants had attitude with each other, it was very awkward for me. When Dr. Alevizos came in to talk with me I could tell right away she was not good with kids because she didn't even say hi to my son. She said he had A LOT of cavities and said that she fills them under general anesthesia. My son is pretty mellow and is always a good boy at the dentist so I asked her if it could be done in the office and she didn't even want to give me that option...very weird! Thank goodness my husband made me get a second opinion. While my son did end up having a few cavities , it wasn't as many as she said and I found an awesome pediatric dentist that fills cavities with a laser...no shots even needed! Find another dentist for your child, this lady is only looking out for herself!

Absolutely, don't take your children their. My daughter also had 8 crowns put in when she was 4 years old. I will looking more into this investigation myself that was on CBS.
