Meson Del Taco Express

I've been purchasing either a chicken or steak burrito from this location nearly every week. I picked up a chicken burrito tonight and not only did the PRICE GO UP , it was THE WORST CHICKEN BURRITO I'VE EVER HAD!!! Absolutely no flavor and very skimpy on the fillings. Wonder if this place will fall from Grace as Taco Burrito King did : That place was THE BOMB in the late 90's!!! And to think I just suggested co-workers to try this place out! I'll have to tell them the bad news in the morning : Very disappointed!!! Plus my daughter said two weeks ago that they had the best veggie burrito and wanted to order from here tomorrow. Wait til she hears my news.....very sad. Don't be greedy for the almighty $$$ as it will in return bring you down. Just as you've left me down. BYE!!!

The people there were awesome but I didn't like my lomo tacos. The steak was unseasoned and left the tacos plain. I'm also not the biggest fan of their onions with that taco. That being said, the asada tacos were great. I'd still say try lomo but it just wasn't to my personal liking but everyone is different. Great staff!Food: 3/5

Ordered 2 Steak Burrito dinners avocado and sour cream on the side, side of guacamole and quesadilla. The food was warm almost cool to the touch. The steak, rice and beans had zero flavor the green sauce made the burrito edible. The guacamole had no lime or salt added so it was just avocado and diced tomato mash. The chips that came with the guacamole looked like it was store bought chips not freshly cooked. This was my 3rd attempt to give this restaurant another chance to regain my patronage and unfortunately they fell short again. I never posted my review of the other 2 offenses that caused me to no longer purchase from here. Unfortunately since Chi Taco went out of business there is no longer any amazing mexican food in Elmwood Park or the surrounding neighborhoods within 15 miles. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant at all costs. Overpriced, under seasoned, lack of quality control, and poorly managed. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Great authentic Burrito Dinner. Pricey but they use real skirt steak. Flavorful and big portion.

I love this place ! The steak , the hot sauce, it's all good! I recommend the Quesadillas.

Meson has quickly become my new favorite taco spot. The two -taco steak dinner is a great meal. Would advise to order on the phone versus through their website, the page crashed on me.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! I grew up going to the location on narraganset, and trust me this location does not dissapoint., The ladies are great, the service is exceptional! 10/10.

Best tacos I have ever found in Chicago. A bit pricey, but the food is fantastic.

Overpriced. Not the best. I’m confused as to how it’s gotten so many good reviews. Although this place does have a lot of good tasting items. There is still a lot of room for improvement. Burnt meat in the pic
