The best Mexican food in Ottawa!! The owners are amazing and the food is authentic. I love that their chicken organic and they have the freshest ingredients possible. My favourite meal when I eat out hands down!

The food is fantastic at Mercadito! Ingredients are always fresh, never greasy, great value and attentive friendly service! What is really important -the place is really clean! My favourites are chicken quesadilla, fish tacos and during the summer they make exquisite tuna ceviche, can't wait, so so good!

Highly recommended! The tacos was absolutely delicious, it was exactly what we looking for. Well priced, portions are reasonable, the quality of the ingredients and presentation was above other “Mexican restaurants “. The staff are fantastic, everything was good...Definitely we’ll back soon!

Enchiladas $18, tacos - 1/4 cup of Cauliflower, a few cubes of pineapple and a touch of cilantro $16 for 3 on corn tortillas quite sure those were flour and yes, I asked for no onions. The meal was ok, but overpriced.

If you're in a rush for lunch, don't bother with this place. I ordered 1 large burrito, and it took nearly 20 minutes to get my order. There were 3 people working at the time, and there was no line up, and no other orders bring prepared at the time from what I could see. The burrito itself was only just okay.

You'd have to be pretty picky to find something wrong with this place. About all I can come up with is that I only got nacho chips which were great instead of the golden potatoes that my buddy had. A bit of a wait to get the food, but the flavours more than made up for it. No doubt about making a return visit!

Food is pretty good, a tad pricey. Service is poor
