My family and myself thought we would get a frozen yogurt treat today. The ice cream machines were not working properly and didn’t dispense the froyog out, also they only had 4 flavours available. So we loaded up on the topping’s!! Weighed it up and the bill for 3 was $53! What is that for, completely ridiculous and especially they didn’t even have any yogurt left that was working! No wonder no one was in there on such a hot day! We will never go back. Matter of time for this place to close! Not even 3 large blizzards from DQ are even half as much. What a ripoff!!!
Menchie's used to be fabulous. My husband and I went there a few weeks ago as a treat when we went through Kamloops. It was insanely priced and the frozen yogurt was mostly watered down. When one bowl had melted a bit, all of the water surfaced and it was pretty horrible.
There was no exterior lighting that showed it was even a place of business. I knew where it was located from previously driving by during daylight hoursThe open sign wasn't lit up; I was shocked when I tried the door handle and it was unlocked. It didn't look like anyone was working upon entering. Half the machines were blinking low or empty. One would think that basic flavors like vanilla and chocolate would never be out of stock. Drove across town for an extremely disappointing cup of yogurt. Never again
Very disappointed in this place, first off didn’t have anyone working when we came in… someone came out from the back after 2-3 minutes being there. The machines didn’t work right and only had 5 flavours. The best part was they didn’t even have cups…just red solo cups from the dollar store. Don’t waste your money, 2 not even half filled cups cost $14. The store was also kind of grimy and off putting.
We went closer to the end if the day. Maybe its ideal to go earlier, as most flavors were done or not there and some toppings were done like the popping boba It was okay.
All the machines were not working except 3 barely. Service personnel was doing what she could with what she had, Service was great. I sympathize with her
Not many flavour options for the yogurt and hardly any topping. Chairs and tables were so dirty we just ended up eating our yogurt in the car. Not sure what has happened but definitely has gone very downhill. Disappointed customer, won't be back:
Not sure what is going on here but it appears nothing right now.Have driven into kamloops for appointments at least five times in the last few months -always stop there but machines not working - almost no flavours - closed in the middle of the day - starting to wander if they have a hidden business going on as it certainly not icecream or frozen yogurt that is keeping it going
I was really hoping to go today to get a final review in but unfortunately they were closed. The pricing seems a little steep for what you get but the variety of frozen yogurt flavours and toppings are impressive. The service is good and it’s always a yummy place for a treat. Will be back. Personally I believe the quality and customization aspect beats Dairy Queen or McDonald’s ice cream.
Disappointing…google & the sign at the store says it closes at 9pm but the worker purposefully had the door locked at 8pm to finish up early. Waste of time.
