We had a great meal here, everything was excellent. Our server was amazing. The place is very clean and has a great vibe. The bbq sauce and mustard are exceptionally good. Highly recommended!
So far, this has been the best place to go and eat on date night in Red Deer. Great staff, good music, and food that makes you drool just thinking of it. Highly recommend that you reserve your next date here.
Most places that focus on this kind of cooking do it over sweet or hot. This place, sure they have their fancy bbq sauce and stuff, but honestly the meat stands up on its own! My mother took me here months ago, and I've been craving it ever since. Camr back today, and it's actually *better* than I remember. Their fries are dusted with spices, which is conpletely unique from everything else in Red Deer. The platters come with cornbread, and while not as sweet as some other places, it is definitely rich and buttery without even adding butter. Now, their surf and turf option doesn't hold up quite as well as the rest of their offerings, but it's still far from bad. Pretty much tge only low point is the side of generic beans and the largely flavorless coleslaw. I would not recommend this place to people whose stomachs are sensitive to oil and grease, as most of the food is a bit oily. The service has been great both times I've been here, with highly personable service staff and a very casual attitude. Really, this place is something special, and I hope they stick around in Red Deer for a long time to come.
Pretty good. Glad I don't have to travel up to an hour now for some good beef brisket. We had the brisket meal and the pulled pork meal and both were very very good.
Really disappointed with the quality of the food here. The meat was flavourless, dry and bland. Can definitely taste a hint of smoke which is a bonus. The bbq sauce is really basic and dull on the palette. For almost $70 this was sub par to say the least
Very tasty, the staff was super accommodating. It was valentine's day, we didn't have a reservation. We got there early so we were able to get a seat. They said they were completely booked up but for later time. They didnt rush us at all. They seemed to want to make sure we had a great experience. Would definitely go again
Ordered to-go. Had high hopes. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Sadly for the $18 price point portions were pretty small. And sandwich dry and plain. I'm pretty lenient with my reviews but I wouldn't recommend this one unfortunately
Great food, fast friendly service. The cornbread was not the best I've had, everything else however was amazing. BBQ sauces were delicious, specifically the spicy one white bottle.
Great food, great service, super fast and local beer nice touch for a chain. Loved the ribs and pulled pork, as close as you'll get to real Southern BBQ in Alberta. Didn't like the coleslaw and the BBQ sauce was just ok but that's a personal preference, I'm sure they're exactly how they're meant to be.
First meal since restaurants opened, top notch staff, friendly and then unobtrusive. Fully loaded nachos with brisket, cornbread shrimp, and wings. Wings were definitely stand out, tried dry rub, and the brisket was the best I have had yet sorry mom
