Our sandwiches and cheese triangles were delicious. The fries were lacking, cold and blah. The service was also less than good really. It wasn't due the the Melts fault, we were at the Cedar Point Melt. It was just very busy. People were everywhere standing in lines all around us while trying to eat. Our server, when she was around was very pleasant. We did at first receive the wrong tables food as well. Would definitely go back to Melt, just not at Cedar Point.
Excellent food and atmosphere, if you're into roller coaster memorabilia. Located on the way to the skyhawk ride.
About twelve people in line in front of us, but a 45 minute wait for a table. Do the owners think they're running Steel Vengeance? Service once seated was decent, but the food itself took a while. I don't know how you get backlogged making toasted cheese sandwiches. The food wasn't that great, particularly given the price. Cheddar tasted more like Velveeta - with a cloying mouth feel. The ham was bland. Fries were just okay. Chicken in the Mac and cheese was diced so I'm pretty sure they don't grill a fresh piece of chicken for the plate. Of course you're trapped in the park. Everything food related is both expensive and mediocre.
So besides having an almost 2 HOUR wait at Cedar Point, they have 3 servers on staff on the day we went. Food came out lukewarm at best. Nothing wrong with the taste of the food, it just didn't come out like it should. Was also missing the chicken on my chicken bacon ranch Mac n cheese. The food's flavor was the only thing saving it from a 1 star review.
I was worried this location might not hold up to the Melt experience I've had before at the Cleveland and Columbus locations but I was wrong. Melt Bar & Grilled at Cedar Point crushed it! Wait times were low even though it was a jam packed Saturday and the food was LEGIT. I even found some vegan options for my wife and I. I ordered the Melt Cheeseburger with a vegan black bean burger and the vegan mozzarella. Best black bean burger I've had anywhere. Our server Kourtney was super friendly and prompt and did a great job. If you're hungry after hiking around Cedar Point and looking for the best bang for your buck, check out Melt Bar & Grilled just off the Midway.
This was my first ever Melt experience. We were seated immediately, but then waited a while for our server to greet us. It was the start of the lunch hour, so I wasn't too surprised. She took our drink, appetizer, and entree orders immediately. Food timing was actually a lot faster than I had expected. While looking at the menu, we had a bit of sticker shock over the prices, but once our food arrived it all made sense. Everyone in our party needed a box. Everything was delicious, and we all agreed we would definitely go back. If you're looking for something fancy pants with constant attention, you probably want to go somewhere else. If you want to have the best grilled cheese you've ever had in a relaxed atmosphere full of Cedar Point signs of attractions past, you need to stop here.
Pretty solid spot for park food, I'd definitely go back. Great place to watch a game while your on the kiddie side of the park
Was a pretty underwhelming experience. Plenty of staff, and we got seated immediately, but we waited at the table for what felt like 10 minutes before even getting a drink order in. I had a sense that the waitress we got assigned to was nearing the end of her shift. She didn't show it to us, but I could tell with her body language and towards other staff Staff would clump up and be on their cellphones frequently, rather than tending to customers. I felt like a lot of conversations were going on with staff instead of tending to patrons. The meals were ok, but not memorable. The whole visit to this establishment wasn't memorable.
The food itself was ok, but the worker behind the bar on 10/22 was so slow and it was extremely obviously he was miserable. It doesn't create a very welcoming environment for customers. The food here is extremely overpricedthe standard in the park so be prepared for that. The bathroom did not have soap.
We had a great experience and great food! We tried the Chicken Vengeance Club because they all told us how good it was and that it's exclusive to the Melt here. It did not disappoint! Our service was a little spotty. We had to keep asking for things like sauces we'd requested from the beginning and some guy who obviously didn't know much about the food delivered our plates from the kitchen. Its wasn't that our server was bad, I think they just weren't very well staffed for how busy they were getting. I tried the marinara and now I want to go back tomorrow to get the meatball sandwich!!
