Melonhead

Not sure how this business is still open.. I walked in one day and it was completely empty and the lady in the front was on the phone, a personal call, definitely not business. And when she saw us walk in she went to the back. We said hello and waited for over 5 minutes before just walking out. She did not say one word to us or come back out at all. I was so shocked someone with a business could be so lazy and unprofessional. I pray this location closes because she does not deserve to be taking up any space in this plaza.

Considering I told her my dd's bday was coming up and I wanted a specifc thing, she did not care and did her own thing and made her hair look horrible and choppy. As soon as her "family/friends" came in...she rushed the job while chatting with them. Awful experience to say the very least least! Shouldn't have even paid for those 2 minutes she took ruining her hair. Ps: Don't even bother with customer service, because all you'll get is...."sorry about your experince".

Very poor experience. Lady cutting hair has no experience with kids. My son was horrified. Poor haircut job. He had a bald spot where she cutntoo much and had hair everywhere when done and no effort was made to clean him. The location was very dirty. Wont ever come back. Not recommended as of dec 2017..

Used to go to Melonhead Promenade Mall......this place in aurora, was such a disappointment. Took my three year old for his first haircut at a salon. I was so disgusted by the locations lack of cleanliness and service provided by the woman cutting hair. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE AURORA LOCATION. I can’t believe this person owns a hair salon for children none the less! My sons hair cut was terrible. Too high on one side, way to short on the other. Had a bunch of kids there with her that were lounging around as if this was her living room. Talked amongst themselves in their own language. So unprofessional. Not at all like our wonderful experience at promenade mall. Can’t believe this place even carries Melon Heads name. I should have reviewed all the other negative reviews. I would not have wasted my money on her.

Very bad service! I could have done a much better job cutting my 2-year old’s hair. She rushed through the job and when was asked to fix my little one’s hair which stuck out after the cut, she simply said that’s her hair’s problem nothing I can do. Will never go there again!
