Meijer Pharmacy

They never seem to 'receive' the prescription even though the health care providers have shown us fax receipts of it being sent in. When they do have the prescription, sometimes takes 24 hours to fill. Once it's filled, waiting another 45 minutes at minimum for them to count out 30 pills or less. God forbid you need something compounded. Wish I could say I've had a good experience with them, even once, over the 5 years we've used them. Problem is we haven't. Time to change pharmacies. Well, it was time to change 59 months ago, but just have been dragging our feet. No more.

If I could rate this pharmacy with negative stars, I would. MPerks was the only reason we used this pharmacy. We used this pharmacy for three years and it was a rare occasion where the did not screw up a perscription. Most often, we would get an automated call telling us that a perscription is ready, but when we get there the perscription isn't ready to be picked up yet and it will be anywhere from 45 mins to 2 hours before it is ready. This pharmacy's moto seems to be "The Customer Is Always Wrong." I don't know how many times I have been in the same room as the Dr. when he called in a perscription but when I get to the pharmacy they tell me that the Dr. hasn't contacted them yet. Then I have to tell them that I know it was called in 30+ mins ago and somehow it turns into an argument ending in them having to put forth more effort to finally find the perscription that the Dr. in fact did call in. It is mind numbingly frustrating to me. Sometimes you get stuck with a person at pickup that is full of attitude and particularly unhelpful. The staff as a whole seem to have communication issues and come off as incompetent.

I've had absolutely fantastic service and love the West Main pharmacy staff! Of course, there are unexpected delays at times, but they are better staffed than most pharmacies I've ever used and are always courteous and helpful. I've been an RN for 30+ years and they are my #1 choice.

I've never had worse service from a pharmacy before. Every single time I tried to fill a prescription it would take days or over a week to actually get it. Never have any meds in stock, terrible customer service from lazy, seemingly uneducated and rude employees. Wait time on a script is usually at least an hour, after you get there and try to pick it up even when you called it in hours before. Wouldn't allow me to take my scripts to another pharmacy when I asked for them, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Will not be using this pharmacy again, and advise others to not use it either.
