Meijer Pharmacy

I understand prices fluctuate and generic brands can change.....but HEY!!! Why do you charge me 63.54 when I can get it at Sams club for 41.85. I can understand 4 or 5 dollars more. Seriously, Why 50% more. Doesn't Meijer say "Why pay more?" Come on guys, Don't forget what got you here.

This is the slowest pharmacy I've ever experienced. Every time a medication is called in or Erx'd in to them it gets put in to be filled the next day. They can not fix the problem and don't even acknowledge that it is a problem. It's very close to me so I give it a chance often and I have never been impressed. I changed to a pharmacy much further away for all of my normal prescriptions just to save myself from the hassle.

They have always been very nice and helpful. I have had pharmacist help and they are very knowledgeable.

Incompetent, unhygienic, unsafe: stay away! Pills drop on the floor and under the rugs (which are NEVER vacuumed), and the techs and pharmacists picked them up and put them in your bottle. The wrong amount of water is put in your baby's amoxicillin when reconstituted, and because this is done by the tech after the pharmacist checks it, no one ever catches it. People work sometimes for 8-10 hours without a single break, so of course they make mistakes with your medications. This is the kind of place that is dispensing your medications at Meijer Pharmacy in 10 Mile Rd, Rockford, MI, the second busiest Meijer Pharmacy (second only to Greenville). The worse part is that both the lead pharmacist and the district pharmacists at the Walker headquarters know about these problems and don't care to fix them. So... do you really trust them to fill your meds? Do you trust them to fill your child's or your mother's or your grandmother's prescription? Do you feel lucky?

Even though the pharmacy labor is only a part of getting your prescription, (there's still doctor offices that have to do their part, and insurances must approve payment, drug companies must have the correcf stock, etc) they do everything in their power to fill your prescription as soon as possible. Love these guys.
