I initially lined up in the X-ray section, but she kindly asked about my concern and immediately guided me to the correct department — the Ultrasound section — since I needed my Achilles tendon examined. I truly appreciated how she took the time to ensure I was in the right place and even helped schedule my appointment smoothly and efficiently. Her welcoming attitude and clear instructions made the entire process stress-free.nPrior to coming here, I had visited Jim Pattison Medical Imaging, but they didn’t have the appropriate equipment to assess a possible muscle tear. After searching on Google, I found Medray Imaging, and I’m glad I did. They were able to accommodate the type of diagnostic imaging I needed.nThe clinic itself is clean, well-organized, and professionally maintained. There is security at the building entrance, which makes you feel safe and comfortable while inside. Although parking is not free, they offer spacious parking for $2.50, which is very reasonable.nThe surrounding area does have visible homeless encampments nearby, which may feel a bit uncomfortable when outside the building. A big thank you to all the wonderful ladies working today July 9 who helped me with my mammogram and ultrasound! It was my first exam of this kind and I was so nervous, but upon my arrival and while waiting I heard the ladies chatting and laughing with each other while working and it helped me to feel more relaxed. They were all so kind and made the whole experience feel like a walk in the park! I was very nervous at the beginning, but she immediately put me at ease by chatting with me throughout the exam and explaining everything she was doing in a clear and reassuring way.nI’ve had many ultrasound exams before, but Alverta is without a doubt the best technician I’ve ever met. This was an incredibly efficient experience for a walk-in xray. It’s been a few years since I was last here but there is now a separate dedicated unit for xrays. Turn left on entering the building! I don’t think the whole process took more than 10 mins between walking in the door, checking in, having the xray, and walking back out.nnThis was a Friday afternoon at 1pm. The main part of the clinic for other types of scans ultrasound, etc was very busy.
