This place has been a nightmare! I would never recommend This place to anyone. My daughter who 5 has a severe cavity that became abscessed I took her to the ER and follow up with this office the very next day. I was told she need a lot of work done and that she should be put under to do so. Per my ins she needed a physical and then I could proceed to schedule and appointment as long as I had the form filled out within the dates givin to me. I did everything I was told and then when I called to make an appointment they said my paper was expired and they couldn't do anything for me until I got a new form filled out now at this point I'm very concerned because due to infection I can't put this off any longer. I asked for the office manager and she talked to me like I was an idiot and even told me that I was wrong she knew that know one in her office would ever tell me that and that she wasn't going to help me. This is for a 5 year old child with an infection in her gums..... who has been on antibiotics for a month never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly. Save your self the stress and headache and go to a reputable office.

My children has been going to this practice for 7 years! My 19 year old drives from Cleveland State university to this office for her dental appointments. My 14 & 12 year old looks forward to their visits & chat with the Dentist! We have never had a bad experience!

My five-year-old came to this dentist a few months ago and we were very displeased first off she sat down in the chair and a dentist came up to her and just automatically started looking in her mouth did not introduce himself her and I had no idea who this person was when he was done he left the room and said okay all done never told us if she had any cavities or anything never told us his name after he left my daughter said" who was that man?" And also the ladies at the front desk aren't very friendly very awkward first experience for the both of us at the dentist office, also no one was very informative. Left with a generic toothbrush, no floss no tooth paste, on their website it even says that they inform their patience on how to take care of their teeth no one told my daughter anything really even spoke to her just told her to open wide did not teach her or tell her how to floss or how to brush your teeth pretty much just put a TV in front of her face. We Came here again tried to give this place a 2ND chance, but I can't handle the rude women at the front desk she got a bad attitude when I was confused about scheduling an appointment not coming back here not a happy or friendly place for an adult to be or a child.

I am not one to ever write a review, but given my bad interaction with this facility and given the fact that they specialize in CHILDREN, I felt compelled to do so. Prior to coming here, I took my children to Dentisrty 4 Kidz in Fairlawn (they are WONDERFUL!!!). Well my insurance through work changed, so I switched my kids’ dentist to here. Initially, I was very impressed by their expansive hours of operation and easy scheduling. However, at every point since then, there have been problems. The dentist has no bedside manner. Thankfully my kids had been to a dentist before, so they knew what to expect, but these are children aged 4 and under receiving zero communication from the dentist. At one point, it was noted that my son had a very small cavity between his teeth. Even though it was a baby tooth, the dentist recommended filling it so that it didn’t spread. I was in agreement with that. He informed us that due to the location, my son would either need to be put to sleep or have other pain medication administered. The office missed my son’s appointment twice (they stated it wasn’t on their calendar). The 3rd time we went for the appointment, they again didn’t have it on their calendar. The staff was locking up, vacuuming, etc. They asked what I was doing and I told them we had a scheduled appointment. They told me I was wrong, so I pulled out the appointment card that they had wrote the appointment day and time. It was only then that they acknowledged they were wrong. They had us sit in the waiting room for quite some time. I had to use the restroom, so I left my son with my sister in the waiting room and ran to the restroom. When I came out, they had taken my son back without me. I went back to find them and the dentist (again no bedside manner, didn’t even introduce himself) starting working on my 3 year old son’s mouth without any pain medication at all. I explained what the other dentist had told us, but this dentist responded my saying he didn’t need it. At the time of payment, I was informed that their credit card machine was down and they handwrote my information on a scrap piece of paper. Fast forward a bit and my family took on two foster kids. Because foster kids receive Medicaid and cannot be put on my employers health insurance I had to find them a densit who accepted Medicaid. Medina Pediatric Dentist does. Their first visit went fairly well. No bedside manner, but a good visit. When we arrived for the 6 month cleaning appointment, we were informed it was cancelled. The office manager (Marian, Mary Ann sp?) accuses me of never returning any phone calls to get updated insurance information for the boys. Thank God I had proof on my phone that I did in fact do so. So then she kept changing her story about what I did or didn’t do. I explained to her that on the Thursday prior to the appointment I spoke with someone in the office and gave the updated information and that at no point between Thursday and Wednesday morning did I receive any phone calls/voicemails from the office stating that the insurance information was wrong. She insisted that it was done. I said well there must be a problem with the system, because I’m telling you, I never got a phone call. She proceeded to say “The only problem is irresponsible parents who don’t check their voicemails and don’t contact their insurance companies.” I responded by saying excuse me? And she replied “well if the shoe fits, you have to wear it.” I am appalled by such unprofessional behavior by the office manager. I then asked which days I was contacted, so that I could cross reference my phone records. She stated they don’t keep that information. I asked if it was possible to check their phone records then to ensure that hey called the right number. I was told it would cost me $40. I even agreed to pay that so that I could see what exactly was going on. I even had my own phone records pulled by my cell phone carrier to show I never received an incoming call from the office. They still say they called and I didn’t return their call

Lady said she'd had the police bring my bill to the house. I've been bringing my kids to this location for years. It's been fine. But several weeks after their last visit, I received a call from the office saying I had an additional balance. My insurance covers cleanings (2/yr.), xrays, and sealant (once/yr) and I am always sure to schedule these correctly. Moreover, the girls at the desk told me we were covered at the time of treatment. I asked the lady on the phone what the bill was for but she couldn't answer the question and immediately started with an attitude. I asked her why the office would charge me for services that I did not request and they did not communicate. She couldn't answer and instead said something to the effect, "if you won't pay this bill right now, I'll call the police and have them deliver the bill to your door". I told her to go for it...which I probably shouldn't have said, but she was completely ridiculous. Well, the 35 bucks just showed up on my credit report. Can you imagine going out to eat and the bill reflects an additional 35 dollar charge for something you never asked for and was never told about? Why is it ok for the medical industry to charge whatever they want without talking to their customer first? Who do consumers allow this?
