MEC Winnipeg

Was looking for climbing shoes. Was exciting going in. If im wearing sneakers, my shoe size is 11, which I feel isn't that big. They staff told me they usually sell size 8-10 im climbing shoes and to check back in the new year as they had no climbing shoes that could fit me. Very dissapointing.

I like this store. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have high quality outdoor camping, hiking, running, winter and cycling equipment and clothing. They also have a nice selection of casual clothing. The washrooms have composting toilets and are clean. Their return policy is also very good.

This Mec is really nice. It is multi level with a very cozy feel. I had trouble finding a size of gloves and the staff was very helpful. Overall I am always impressed with MECs virtual merchandising and quality of products and of course their rock solid guarantee.

Worst returns and exchange experience I've ever had with a company. Products that was bought online can't be returned in store. If you would like to exchange something then you have to buy the exchanged product first before you can return the previous product. Oh and returning a product then costs you money. I feel like an idiot recommending MEC to family, which bought quite a few things there, and then feeling like I'm getting scammed. Rather support someone else.

Service here is horrible anytime I’ve ever gone in here the manager was horribly rude asked if I was a member and they had my phone number under the wrong person after finding out that clearly wasn’t me no one explained what their membership had to offer. I’ve shopped here a few times and service never fails it’s always terrible especially considering your spending a couple hundred dollars each time going in.

The best bike repair. They are so kind and nice and agreed to make my bike so safe. Great store.

Great MEC location! Stocked up on camping stuff here during a long trip. Google Maps didn't tell us when we arrived here at first using walking directions so we had to go around the block kind of weird.

This store won't give a customer a 5 cent plastic bag because they claim it's not environmentally friendly but they do sell thousands of item that can't be recycled. Not providing customers with a plastic bag is just an excuse for them to save money or ask you to pay 2.2 . dollars for a bag with questionable recyclabilty

Super-duper small location, but service was top notch from one particular pedal head mechanic. I don't think this person was the tech, but the fixed a wildly ridiculous mechanical switch issue with a cycling shoe. Fantastic. Thanks team.
