Great place to spend a hot summer day. Also a good place to spend any day fishing off the fishing dock. There are two playgrounds, one for littles and one for older kids. There is a boat pier as well where you can rent canoes, row boats, and paddle boats. You can fish from the boats or take a row/paddle on the lake and go through the tunnel that is the access to the lake's gated island for the richies. There are picnic tables and charcoal grills that can be used for barbecues. Tennis courts and a beach volleyball court round out the activities. There is plenty of green space and trees if you want some solitude. Also a great place to come skate on the rink or the lake in the frigid winter time. My family has been coming here for the last 35 years. It never disappoints. Highly, highly recommend. If you don't have lake access, I am so sorry.
Beautiful venue in the fall. Great place for a bridal shower, looking out over the water from a private space. Beach looks clean and spacious. Google maps isn't the best for directions here, it turned me down the road a block before with a "no lake access" sign.
Great spot to spend the afternoon on the water. The boat house was closed this time, but the lake is open. Update: as we become more familiar we learn the great variety of things to do. We've played tennis, pickle ball, we have done some fishing and we've borrowed canoes and kayaks to go out on the lake. The children enjoy swimming in the lake a great deal.
Wish there were more just simple supplies. But easy to access and did the job.
Was disgusted with the treatment from the security guard today. Was trying to access the beach with a paying member of the community and was swore at and yelled at by the security for no reason. Will not be returning nor do I recommend anyone use this beach house.
Exclusively for members. They have two playgrounds. Swim in summer and skate and slide in winter.
I went to an event at this venue. The Christmas lights are fantastic. It is a very beautiful setting. The deck off of the room we had the event in overlooks the lake. It is really nice. I was quite loud when everyone got talking and laughing. It would be a good idea for them to add something for sound absorbing. This is why I didn't give it 5 stars.
Awesome lake. Great sandy beach and clean facilities. Very relaxing place to be.
Had an amazing time paddleboarding, swimming and suntanning there today. They look after the place really well!
We're lucky enough to have bought a house that is in the area of the Mckenzie Lake community that has access to the lake. Beautiful park and lake. Worth considering buying a house in the lake access part of the neighborhood.
