Story

MCMP is a beautiful 26 acre park set in serene sourroundings. We offer one of the only heated indoor Mausoleum/Chapels in the county.

Son passed in 2009 & since we have chosen cremation we wanted to use 1 grave for his cremains & the other for cremains of a companion urn for Husband & Wife when needed. I would like to start out by saying that my five stars is not for the Memorial Park it’s actually for Crystal Locke Family Service Counselor after dealing with different people at the memorial park for 30 years trying to get my name posted and burial arrangements straightened out that I was promised under contract it was crystal that stepped forward and made it come true she worked diligently through the disarray and shut down of Covid to see that my wife and I had our names and dates properly posted on our burial crypt Crystal through her actions restored my faith in Mchenry County Memorial and and human beings involved in the cemetery business thank you Crystal I hope your boss Reads this and realizes what a valuable employee you are and what a great human being thank you once again from the bottom of my heart
Heard very disturbing info on Facebook today. This cemetery double sells grave plots and forces grieving parents to move their childrens dead bodies to other plots. Disgraceful!
My grandfather has rested here since 1991 and he is always well taken care of with flowers
