In between primitive and commercial camping. A great deal of tree cover and brush, beautiful rolling prairie, and wonderful wildlife habitat. Great ranger/host. Features outhouses and water pump. No other amenities which was as desired. Well planned layout, specified area for tent camping only in a concealed remote location away from vehicle campers. Has a pond, no fish, only turtles. Great first trip for a pre teen.

Great area. Parking not a problem. Large group site is also available in addition to regular family sites.

Lots are small and closely packed, but you can find some that are fairly secluded.
