I still gave 4 stars, because I’d like to think this is an isolated incident and I’m really not a Karen lol. But this is unacceptable: They ran out of dome lids I’m assuming based on the soda lid that was used for frappe so you short the customer?? Do we need to brush up on good customer service? You don’t short the customer because you ran out of supplies. I get it, things happen hence the decent review in spite of it. Let’s remember we are all out here struggling. And coffee might be a luxury, but so much MORE of a splurge these days with the prices. Thank you! Have a wonderful day

I rarely crave McDonald's. But today I wanted a McChicken. The food and everything was to be expected. The reason I'm giving review and five stars is before I left. I heard the manager clapping and telling the employees that they were doing a great job. It's 4th of July weekend and there's lots of people there serving and it just made me smile. Hearing a manager appreciate their employees.

They messed up 2 items on my order and missed my drink. Substituted my kid’s shake in place of the coke I ordered with my combo meal, without consulting me, then refused to fix it at the pickup window. Left me thirsty and annoyed.

My daughter downloaded the McDonalds app on my phone and told me to use it. The first time I used it I was traveling and nervous since I didn’t understand how it worked I’m over 60. I ordered my food on 3/30/26 around 5pm, then pulled up to the Tawas City, Michigan location. I gave the drive through person the number and they didn’t recognize it. They asked if I selected drive thru or inside pick up. I told them I had no idea as this was my first time using the app. He then asked me a number of questions I don’t recall before asking me to pull forward where I handed him my phone and he looked at it another 3 minutes or so. He then said he’d have to get the manager. After a couple minutes, she came over and looked through my phone and told me, “you selected pickup, not drive through. She just stared at me at that point. WOW. Of course my food was cold by the time I picked it up. Does this location have a brick wall between the drive thru area and the counter area? The order number I gave the drive thru employee was exactly the same as the order that was sitting in the “pick up” area inside the restaurant. He couldn’t just walk over to look at the pick up orders rather than having me hand him my phone to finger through it for 3 minutes? not to mention having to call over his boss to do the same?. His boss couldn’t walk over to grab the food once she realized my error? I had to park my car and go in to retrieve my cold food. I think I was punished for my old man lack of technology.

McDonald's used to be a fun place to grab a burger.... That's all changed.... ZERO Customer service. Kiosk orders only, 25 minute wait time for ice cold, inedible food.nDo yourselves a favor and avoid all McDonald's restaurants.nI only hope that they go out of business.
