If you're looking for dinner and a free demonstration of how not to manage people, this is the place. The manager Kasi is his name seems to think yelling at employees is a leadership strategy and talking down to customers is good customer service. Every visit feels like you're one inconvenience away from watching another unnecessary outburst.nThe atmosphere is tense because the staff constantly look like they're waiting to be shouted at next. Instead of setting a professional example, the manager creates an environment that's uncomfortable for both employees and customers. It's amazing how one person can make an entire business feel so unwelcoming. I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend anyone spend their money here until management learns that respect costs nothing. Constantly yelling at employees, being rude to customers, and creating a hostile environment is not leadership, it's intimidation.If this behavior continues to be ignored, I'll be taking my concerns directly to HR because employees and customers deserve better than this. A manager who can't treat people with basic respect shouldn't be managing anyone.
I recently visited the McDonald's on Gordon Street in Guelph, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The interior design of the restaurant is modern and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere for diners.nnWhat truly stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. One team member went above and beyond by offering to bring our order to our table without me even asking. This kind gesture made our visit feel special and highlighted the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff.nnIt's refreshing to encounter such attentive service at a fast-food restaurant. I left feeling appreciated as a customer and look forward to returning to this location in the future. Highly recommended!
I am leaving this review to formally document a deeply upsetting experience I had at this location today. I placed a takeout order and was quietly waiting at the counter when the General Manager ANDREW approached me in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. He loudly demanded to know what I was there for, despite the fact that I was simply standing and waiting without causing any disruption whatsoever. I showed him my receipt and said nothing further.nnShortly after, he returned and shouted at me again, telling me I would have to wait and that my order was not first. I had not asked about my order, complained, or done anything to provoke this reaction. His behaviour was completely uncalled for, intimidating, and humiliating.nnWhat made this experience even more troubling was that it came from the General Manager, the person who is supposed to set the standard for how customers are treated. Instead, I was yelled at in front of other people and left feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and stressed. When I returned to ask for the manager's name, the staff refused to provide it. I had to find out his name through someone outside the restaurant.nnI have filed a formal complaint with corporate and will be pursuing this matter further. No customer should ever be shouted at or treated this way, especially by management. Do not go to this location. He verbally abuses the customers.
It's McDonald's, what more can you say. This particular location used to terrible when you ordered only coffee. They seemed to forget about the order and everyone else was served first. They have improved as of late. The drive thru is the way to go because you're always the priority. The coffee is pretty good and cheaper than the competition. The food is not healthy but is very tasty. I frequently enjoy their coffee.
