I don’t normally complain and certainly don’t like it when I feel the need. However, this specific McDonalds is really frustrating when it comes to getting orders correct. We just went to the drive through and ordered 3 hamburgers with extra pickles and extra onions, a Happy Meal with fries and a Fillet Fish with fries. Given my wife’s past experiences she checked the bag before leaving. The fries were cold. So my wife went inside and waited for them to make new fries. We then drove home 12 minutes away, and sat down to eat. Well, never thought I’d have to check the hamburgers since the special order receipt was on the packaging specifying xtra pickles and xtra onions. Unwrapped the burger and absolutely no onions. Not even a single tiny cube. Opened the other two and same, no onions. I know it seems so petty but I, myself, generally do not eat here so I was looking forward to the hamburgers. Very disappointing, how a simple quality control check can be missed, even when the receipt clearly identifies the expected outcome, and, being 12 minutes away, makes a 25 minute round trip and waste of gas if I wanted to have this corrected. So one has to suck it up. My wife did call and they offered to send coupons. My preference would have been for them to drive out to our house with them, but of course, someone would be expecting a tip. Moral of the story, never assume that there can’t be anything more wrong with an order beside cold fries. Cobourg McDonalds, please practice quality control before passing the bag to your paying customers.
Placed a large order for a group only to drive home and realize we were missing about 5 items and the fries were lukewarm at best. We spoke to someone on the phone who apologized and promised to fix the order if we drove back to pick up the rest of it. Made ANOTHER trip to pick up the missing items and once home was genuinely impressed to discover they had somehow missed yet another item. Beautiful stuff, we won’t be back.
i ordered a regular sized mcflurry, they put a snack sized mcflurry container INTO a regular sized container. laziest thing ive seen in years. also fries were extremely cold.
2023 July 2.5nThis place is slow. There's lack of staff. Everyone is busy preparing the food and with the kiosks, they limit time taking orders or providing customer service.nnEverything else was ok. Hopefully this is temporary.nSeating on the patio very nice. Well decorated.nPlay place also available.
Writing on behalf of my little 9 year old niece as she was insistent that I write a review for her. She went with her mom for lunch today for her birthday and said one employee named Toby was “super super nice” and made her entire day for her birthday and she’s decided she wants to go to this McDonald’s every year for her birthday. Thank you Toby for going above and beyond, Isabelle just moved to the area and change has been tough so she is very grateful for your kindness and your conversation
